Ehh... I don't see the great value of a Tyler Guyton in Round 1 as opposed to a Patrick Paul one or two rounds later. If he could maul in the run game, I would be more open to it, because I have wanted more guys like that, but he doesn't.

No to Mims. I don't really like Tackles that are that tall. It will be a problem against guys who can bend and get really low.

Nate Wiggins: outside-only corner is not enough value + too skinny for GB weather. And no more DBs that are weak against the run.

No to any Round 1 QB, WR, or DT. Value add is too low to be worth it in 1, and arguably counter-productive by eating into reps of the glut of young talent we do have. I think this forum has the right idea generally not to be too driven by need as most fans are, but I think there is a slight over-correction among some here in the other direction.

Otherwise, #25 is so late in R1 that I am not overly picky. I prefer guys like Barton or McKinstry in R2, but am fine with them at 25.

Man, don't draft bad athletes. Just don't do it. I don't care if Nubin or Kinchens are sitting there in Round 6, I am not pulling the trigger on any sub-5.0 RAS guys. No WRs or 3-tech DTs before Day 3. I don't really even like the 3-tech DTs much straight-up, much less for us.

Also, no to Calen Bullock. No more Savages, athletic DBs that are poor tacklers.

1. Caleb Williams. He's Rodgers 2.0.
2. Pretty much any WR. Great class, but I do not want one. Let them push down players at positions with less depth that we need more.
3. Ditto the QBs.
4. Marshawn Kneeland. I like him, but yet another power rusher, would not really bring much to our EDGE room.
5. Nate Wiggins, see above.
HM. Mike Sainristil, too short to play here.

Mckinney had a RAS of like 5.4. Sometimes guys can just play football.

My "hometown" Commanders read my draft board this year

Well Edgerrin Cooper was the only guy on any list we took.

He was 2nd on my want outside round 1 list.


@NCF was the only guy who listed Morgan. Had him on his do not want in round 1 list.

To be fair, all the reports I read and the little I watched had me convinced he would have to kick inside to OG. If the staff sees him as a LT, it definitely makes the pick more palatable.

I had Edge. I didn't look into Bullard because I thought he was too small for us, but I'm loving everything I read about him and probably would have liked him a lot for us if I checked him out more.

I added Bullard to the list after originally posting it once I looked at him for real, which I also did pretty late. I posted about it at the time in the draft thread. Adding him as HM3 definitely doesn't give me credit for having him in the top 5 but had the list been made in order of priority instead of a late addition, he assuredly would have been there.

As I said during the draft--I felt there were two guys in this draft that had the versatility, athleticism, physicality, and instincts/IQ to be what we need in the secondary next to McKinney and/or in the slot--DeJean and Bullard. I wanted both but will gladly settle for one of them and the poor man's version of one of them in Williams (of the above list, lacks the high-level athleticism but seems to have the other 3)
