Percent of vote the winner got will be in parenthesis, position change vs. 2023 will be in brackets.

Here's how this works:

Each day there is a new thread/poll, starting at #1, on down to whereever we get. The whole point of this exercise is to have something to talk about in the lean news months to carry us to camp. Each poll will be open for voting for 24 hours. New threads will only be created on weekdays. Ties will cause a runoff poll. You may vote up to TWO players (a change that was made mid-poll last year, seemed to work well).

Simply voting is not enough!

Post why you voted for who you did and provide a player to add to the next poll (every poll will be a list of 15-20 guys, new players added in bunches every few days).

Here's the thing. There is no criteria. This is an exercise to foster discussion therefore there are no clear criteria for ranking. Who is better right now? Who will have the best season? Who was better last year? Sort of a combo of them all? Do you take positional value into account? It really doesn't matter.

My push for Valentine was more focused on the CB2 position than Valentine specifically. With Stokes voted in as CB2 by those of you caught up in the "he's back and better than ever!" hype, I'm backing off Valentine simply because CB3 (actually CB4 since Nixon is already on the board) doesn't warrant a vote.

It's Bullard and Cooper for me. Those two are gonna see the field A LOT and if they're anywhere good as advertised, they'll be impactful.

Cooper and Brooks. Brooks quickness is going to do some damage across the line in this defense.

There is still a lot of talent on the board. I went with Cooper and Bullard, but have a tier here that includes Morgan, Valentine, Brooks, Myers, Enagbare and Lloyd.

ahhh hell, I'll go along with the group, with Bullard and Cooper, but I'am doing this under formal protest :rotf:

Morgan is going to bench Walker sooooo fast it's going to spin some heads right off in this forum, don't say I didn't warn ya'all :rotf: :rotf:

also safety, specially SS same with ILB is not so easy a transition as people think, both are almost exclusively zone coverage positions, meaning they are required to know the assignments of others as well as there own, typically when we see broken coverages it's because one of the two goofed, but as with all of you I like these two alot, just think Morgan is the more ready to rock player.

we are really deep at quite a few positions, jmo but we are setting up well for a long run, wont guess about SB wins, but there could be several.

Gutes done well, maybe we should keep him :rotf:

Really not getting the Stokes love myself. Him being “back” just means he’s still a below average CB, just 3 years older and more tape on how to beat him.

Something I said after his rookie year. It was a good year for a rookie CB but that wasn’t a good year for a CB if we remove experience from the equation.

I was just considering which RB I'm going to rank higher: Dillon or Lloyd.

Neither are in my queue as of yet but I think I'm leaning Dillon. His experience in this offense combined with the "other" look he gives you at RB give him the edge, I think.

I do, however, think Lloyd is the more talented back.

Went with the 2nd rounders. Both Bullard and Cooper will be on the field and expected to contribute.
