Each day there is a new thread/poll, starting at #1, on down to whereever we get. The whole point of this exercise is to have something to talk about in the lean news months to carry us to camp. Each poll will be open for voting for 24 hours. New threads will only be created on weekdays. Ties will cause a runoff poll. You may vote up to TWO players (a change that was made mid-poll last year, seemed to work well).

Simply voting is not enough!

Post why you voted for who you did and provide a player to add to the next poll (every poll will be a list of 15-20 guys, new players added in bunches every few days).

Here's the thing. There is no criteria. This is an exercise to foster discussion therefore there are no clear criteria for ranking. Who is better right now? Who will have the best season? Who was better last year? Sort of a combo of them all? Do you take positional value into account? It really doesn't matter.

Well, camp is opening, but I'm going to try to squeeze in one more after this.

Going with Clifford to be QB2.

I think Dillard makes the team and has a role on the OL, he's my 2nd pick.

Tyler Davis and Eric Wilson probably have a bigger impact on the 2024 Packers than any of the back-ups

I know GPG and some other are not balls on fire hot for Sean Clifford, or really any back up QB, but they rep the scout team, and the scout teams prep the real team, so that player obviously does make a difference, now Pratt may have over all upside to Clifford, but he wont have it this year, so Clifford gets my pick today, again.

You still have Ballentine on the list.

Went Eric Wilson as one of the teams best, if not the best, STs player. Hes also a pretty serviceable LB. He wont be some good player out there but he wont kill you and ultimately thats what you want from a backup.

I went Monk second. I do think at some point this season he is going to push either the C or RG position. Im very high on Monk and see him very similar to Wilson. He is going to be a pro bowl guard but I dont think he is the type that will get completely blown up like we see often from Myers.

I don't think Sean Clifford will be a part of the 53 in September. He can come back and develop on PS, but there's no reason to roster him and there's no chance that another team will snatch him up given his performance to date. The 2nd year leap just hasn't materialized
GB may snag another developmental QB from around the league and put him on PS. Here's hoping Pratt shows better in his opportunities
