Week 7 Games

Rather significant NFC North matchup coming.
Who we rooting for? Guess I think Vikings, don’t think they are “real”. Far exceeded my expectations, but don’t think they are a legit threat to the NFC.
Although if the Vikings go 6-0, we’d be a solid ways behind him, even if we our really tough matchup this week.
But go Vikings for me.

Lions. Vikings should be buried and forgotten at the old Met in Bloomington. Been around since 1961 with one NFL Championship (1969) that they earned before the merger exacerbated the Vikings continuence of ineptness streaks.

I'm starting to feel a trap game brewing. Is the Texans offensive line capable of controlling the line of scrimmage for 4 quarters?

Mixon is averaging 5.5 yards per carry.

Biggest win so far was versus the Bills. The other 4 wins were over mediocrity. Lost to the PITA Vikings.

You want the Lions to win and put yourself back a game against the Lions and Vikings. Still play the Lions twice to overcome that and the Vikings once to overcome them.

I don’t think either outcome is terrible. I think the Vikings, and particularly Darnold, come back to earth at some point and, as @lupedafiasco mentioned, we still get the Lions twice. Both scenarios are doable.
If I must choose, I’d rather the Lions win, but not for the reasons Lupe stated. I just don’t like the Vikings. I also like listening to Paul Allen suffer and anguish through what he must know by now is inevitable failure. His tears are delicious.

I didin't know it was possible to be a trap game when our opponent is 5-1.
How about we are just playing a really good football team?

Only because the Packers are favored by 3. I think that's a trap.

Strength of schedule first 6 weeks.
Vikings 4
Lions 28
Strength of schedule for the remainder of the season.
Vikings 28
Lions 4
That being said, I think the Vikings lose this week. Why? Because I will be at the game. And I can't have nice things like seeing my team go 6-0.

lol. So it's a trap game because the home team is favored by 3 when the home team generally gets a 3 point advantage regardless.
So it's even on a neutral field.
Classic trap game.

I think I am with you. The Vikings have been here before and they will Viking again. The Lions look to have a much tougher remaining schedule. Both had early Byes. Minnesota does have a three game road trip that could give them some problems and the Lions have a pretty brutal stretch starting on Thanksgiving, but have the first leg of that (3 games) at home. The Hutchinson injury is huge, too.

Classic Sean Payton.
His team is up 26-3 with six minutes left in the fourth qtr and he has his offense out there throwing passes to keep drives going.

Saints kept that bubble unpopped far longer than anyone thought possible. Thought it might go 5 years ago.
Horribly, short sighted, run organization last ~8 years.
Needed to implode so they can start over.

Anders Carlson with a no-doubt 55 yd FG for the 49ers.
It’s gotta be Bisaccia.

And after another made FG, Anders doinks an XP attempt off the upright.
