Week 1 Playoff Games

Post by lupedafiasco »

Man this Texans defense is just dominating. Chargers are just killing themselves on offense with overthrows and dropped balls. This is why I always say in the playoffs you need talented WRs because coverage is allowed to be so much tighter without being called.

I have no interest in this Chargers-Texans game beyond seeing Harbaugh getting his heart ripped from his chest and stomped into the dirt.

So far, so good…

Ravens putting boot to ass. Steelers can’t get anything going. I think this has to be Wilson’s list shot at starting. He’s just too small and really doesn’t have that magic anymore as a QB.

If I wasn't a Packers fan, the team I think I would enjoy rooting for the most - meaning their uniforms, management philosophy, play on the field, team culture etc...I think it would be the Ravens.

Agreed. They have the dopest uniforms in the NFL IMO. The logo is sick, the color scheme is sick, and they do things the right way. I will say Baltimore is a &%$@ though. I mean you have inner harbor which is super nice and the rest of it is one of the worst areas I’ve ever been to.

When I lived in Maryland I went to a few Ravens games including Packers vs. Ravens when Eddie Lacy was our running back. Great fun with the fans and pre game. They have something called Ravens Walk which is a fun time. https://www.baltimoreravens.com/game-day/ravenswalk/

Ravens do not like the Steelers ......... similar to the Packers - Bears and Packers - Vikings situations.

Was at the Vikings - Ravens snow storm game which was a blast. The Ravens and Bills are the AFC teams I root for now. I used to like the Dolphins particularly in the 1970s with Warfield, Csonka, Kiick and Mercury Morris and the No Name Defense, and later on when they beat the Bears on MNF in 1985, but that love affair is over.

They also seem to always draft my draft crushes which tells me that I align nicely with their management and player personnel philosophy.

Buffalo is wearing down the Denver defense now with 2 point conversion now lead 21-7, and Allen has all day to throw, this could get really ugly for Denver, still over a quarter to play

Every one of these playoff games have been stinkers so far dominated by the home teams.

I see the officials are going to make their presence known in the Rams game too.

Living here in MN, I have to say this pleases me greatly. Now I don't have to worry about my Viking buddy/co-workers talking BS.

That's assuming that the Rams close this one out in the 2nd half. I am a Stafford fan tonight. :)

Rams started today with a lot of play action. Made me wonder why Packers/MLF don't use it more. Anyhow, now Stafford is just slinging it. His guys have his back. And the Vikes are sucking air.

Is there a let down by the Vikes after last week?
Come on down and try some of our delicious green chili! Best in the world!

I wish I’d have tuned into the KFAN radio feed sooner. You can already hear the resignation in their voices. I feel like I missed the emotional creeping death realization of the first half failure.

I’ll give these guys credit, I enjoy their play calling over the Buck-Aikman blathering, even in what must be soul wrenching for them to watch and call.
