I can’t wait for his speech. I would assume Shannon introduced him. Shannon’s speech for Sterling was one of my favorite all time as far as HoF speeches go. Taking the time for to recognize Sterling and to say you aren’t even the best player in your family to me was really moving.

Wow, I am happy that he got in. I didn't think he would, based on what I remember of Shannon Sharpe's speech, I thought it was pretty much off the table

From my bio in the Members Only Forum Directory thread:
Favorite Packer Player of all time? So many to choose from. I became a fan in the 70s so the Lombardi teams were before my time. Was a big fan of Ezra Johnson, he was the lone highlight on many of those early fandom teams. James Lofton and Lynn Dickey were really fun to watch. Mike Douglas was fearless and relentless. Then came the Majik Man. I guess if I had to settle for a single player, though, it’d be Sterling Sharpe. He was so good. So, so good. Everybody knew the ball was going to him but he still got it done. A brilliant player whose career ended far too early.
So glad Sterling finally got voted in. He was such a dominant player of his era, if only for a short period of time.

Yeah, one of the only speeches that I really ever remembered.

holy crap. That hits you right in the feels.

First it was LeRoy. Now it Sterling. So happy these Packer legends finally get the respect they deserve.

Dig this after party segment!! GO PACK GO!

It's a shame they never talked about what he did his 7 years in Green Bay, instead they focussed on his lack of longevity. Made no sense.

Bring on Verne Llewellen and Gale Gillingham ............you lazy stiffs.
