Percent of vote the winner got will be in parenthesis, position change vs. 2019 will be in brackets.
Here's how this works:
Each day there is a new thread/poll, starting at #1, on down to whereever we get. The whole point of this exercise is to have something to talk about in the lean news months to carry us to camp. Each poll will be open for voting for 24 hours. New threads will only be created on weekdays. Ties will cause a runoff poll.
Simply voting is not enough!
Post why you voted for who you did and provide a player to add to the next poll (every poll will be a list of 10 guys, a new player is added to the list each day).
Here's the thing. There is no criteria. This is an exercise to foster discussion therefore there are no clear criteria for ranking. Who is better right now? Who will have the best season? Who was better last year? Sort of a combo of them all? Do you take positional value into account? It really doesn't matter.
Gosh, this spot is really tough. Maybe that means its the spot for Jordan Love, who officially became a millionaire today.
Love, Ervin, KeKe, Runyan, Martin, Taylor, and Light are all right here for me. Burks should be too I suppose.

Love will be much higher next year. God forbid that AR gets hurt and Boyle flops this year. This year I view him like the punter, useful if the worst happens.
Runyan for me. I can understand Ervin and Tonyan soon.

Getting thin here.
Should Love really go before Boyle this year?

Think I’m gunna go Lane Taylor.
He’s the de facto 6th OL and only other lineman with a real chance to start.
I think the season is screwed if either Boyle or Love have to play very much this year. We are looking at the 15-20th pick if they do, in next year's draft. So are they valuable or would we prefer the 15th pick vs the 20th?

I'm sorry but these arguements get old.
Like I imagine over easily 80% of teams with the backup quarterback starting has a losing record with the bacukp at the helm. This league is just too tough to win with QB2 needing to play a lot.
Albiet we have seen a lot of outliers lately with the Saints, Vikes and Eagles being successful the last few years with QB2.
Sorry, I messed up and missed putting him on the poll. Corrected, but it wiped out everyones votes (fortunately there were only 3).
Still Lane Taylor.
I think Love next. Gotta have some faith he’ll beat out Boyle.
I would be bummed if he didn't. I wouldn't necessarily put Boyle in the Top 10 Backup QB group.
I wouldn’t put hardly any stock in it year one coming from a small school.

The only people I will for sure rank Love ahead of are Josh Jackson and Oren Burks. Love will not see the field, but is a lock to make the roster and if he did see the field, I am confident he would make at least some good plays.
Jackson and/or Burks are not safe bets to make the roster anymore and even if they do, I have no real confidence that they will make any good plays save for total flukes.

Swervin Ervin. Gave us a return game for the first time in forever. Adds some juice to the O as well.

Wow. I am surprised to see that 8 people think that Keke will play as the inside pass rusher instead of Rashan Gary or Z.

It says more about Lancaster than it does about Keke.

ya can never have enough DL with pass rush skills, and it is the most exhaustive position in football, Love will be a 3rd string QB all of this season, why spend this high a slot on a 3rd stringer QB, doesn't matter who he will be, he aint that person yet, swerve Erve is next for me, I think we've finally found a good return specialist, and a good gadget couple plays a game player.
Boyle soon, andwe have to add the punter, other then that it's hot, damn hot 87 here just prior to lunch.
