Percent of vote the winner got will be in parenthesis, position change vs. 2019 will be in brackets.

Here's how this works:

Each day there is a new thread/poll, starting at #1, on down to whereever we get. The whole point of this exercise is to have something to talk about in the lean news months to carry us to camp. Each poll will be open for voting for 24 hours. New threads will only be created on weekdays. Ties will cause a runoff poll.

Simply voting is not enough!

Post why you voted for who you did and provide a player to add to the next poll (every poll will be a list of 10 guys, a new player is added to the list each day).

Here's the thing. There is no criteria. This is an exercise to foster discussion therefore there are no clear criteria for ranking. Who is better right now? Who will have the best season? Who was better last year? Sort of a combo of them all? Do you take positional value into account? It really doesn't matter.

There will be 6 open spots as of the next poll. Everyone you think is going to make the team should be up there (but the P and LS).

I'm staying with Love. Didn't realize we were also missing the #6 OL, so Taylor it is.

My take on the Love vs. Boyle argument basically comes down to this.

In the worst case scenario (except injury) where Love looks like total crap, they will have to keep Boyle and Love on the roster. If Rodgers goes down mid-game and its winnable, or if he misses a game or two and we are in the playoff hunt, Boyle will get the nod. A longer term injury to Rodgers or a situation where we are not in the playoff hunt (too bad or too good), Love will get the start. That's worst case scenario. Still a push Love-Boyle.

Best case scenario, Love clearly beats out Boyle and looks like he belongs, he's clear #2 and I'm not sure we even keep Boyle (unless he's added to the practice squad, not sure he has any eligibility left tho).

Those are the two ends of the spectrum, its either a Love blowout or Boyle-Love push for which should go first. Love has a guaranteed roster spot. Boyle absolutely does not.

BTW, I'm starting to seriously lose the faith that there will even be a season. :(

Maybe they do esports and broadcast madden games with the players playing themselves.

I trust Love to win a game if called off the bench more so than Boyle, but I also expect him to struggle if needed to start a stretch. I will say I am starting to concede Love is #3 this year with it being unlikely there will be any preseason football, but as I have explained in a few threads, my vote, particularly in this back-up QB discussion extends beyond this year.

I can understand votes for Love. I dont agree with it with some of the players still available but I can see why some people would pick him.

But under no circumstances should Boyle be getting votes. That is crackhead territory.

I would rather get massaged with sand paper than watch how bad madden has gotten.
