I love Devin Funchess!! How the hell is he only 25!?!?!

Will be a really big target for Rodgers. The guy has to stay healthy though.

One of those Patriots type signings, I like it! Don't expect a ton, but anything positive will be nice.

Broke his collarbone week 1 last season. Should have had pleeeenty of time to heal fully before playing snaps for us.

Funchess made 10M in what was supposed to be a one-year prove-it deal with Indy. Since money wasn't mentioned in the initial tweet, have to think he'll only get a small fraction of that - could be heavily incentive-laden.

I'm thinking Jimmy G and/or Allison replacement as a big receiving threat.

One of the guys on the Packers beat reported that he believes its veteran minimum.

My goodness we have a lot of size at WR.

I would think drafting a guy like Mike Pittman or Chase Claypool now would be kind of redundant.

IF this is another relatively cheap and short deal, as suspected, it won't take WR off the high round draft possibilities list.

Kinda like Kirksey and Wagner: Gutey making sure he doesn't have to have blinking "desperate need" signs in the draft room.

I also assumed we would draft two WRs Rd 5 or earlier in this draft. Now I think we only need to draft 1 which is huge for us honestly.

No we definitely need to take WR at minimum before Day 3. But I think this does alleviate where drafting one high is good enough. Honestly taking two early now wouldn't make much sense as it would be a bit overload at that position.

They certainly have a “type” with these big bodied WR’s. I like this signing.

Definitely had the same thought.

I like Funchess, he’s always reminded me a bit of James Jones. If he can stay healthy, he could provide everything in the passing game we hoped from Graham.

This guy runs good routes, knows how to set up deep routes, and catches contested passes well.

Can't argue if it is vet minimum. A guy with plenty of upside and still young.
