NO or TB?!? What's the better choice for us in the NFC game?

Just a quick one because I wanna know for whom to root tonight. Which team makes it easier for us to advance to the SB? I'm kind of at a loss here for both teams seem at the same level.

I want to see us beat Brady and the Bucs. We already beat the Saints this year.

I know we can beat either team. I think Brees is the weaker QB so from that standpoint and the poll I'd root for NO.

The Saints are better and more battle tested for the moment. Likely knowing Brees is retiring.

I’ll prolly take Bucs.

I don't think it matters.

Kamara and Michael Thomas are field tilters and big plays waiting to happen. Both defenses are legit.

Both can't beat us if we are on our game.

I would rather beat the Bucs.

There is no good match-up. I agree, the Saints are better, but I think the Bucs match-up against us better. I feel like we know the Saints better. I do feel like our Defense has a better match-up against the Saints than against the Bucs, especially if Arians is smart enough to pound the rock against us and get Brady into a PA attack with those weapons.

So, gun to my head, I think our chances of winning are better if we play the Saints, but the vengeful bastard inside of me wants to beat the Buccaneers.

How, how, how have Brees and Rodgers never met in the postseason?

Brady is used to playing outside in the cold. Brees isn't the QB he once was. Gimme NO.

I feel more confident about beating the Saints than the Bucs, but the difference is so marginal that I can't bring myself to root for the Saints today. I really don't care, honestly. It's vital for the sake of the league, though, that we stop whoever gets through. We can't give another to Brady and must maintain Rodgers' superiority over Brees.

Whoever wants to brave the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field! Bring it!

I'd much prefer to see a dome team at Lambeau next week. Brady still scares me.

I wouldn't be mad if the game goes into Overtime tonight.

I want a hard fought game to wear them out.

A win vs Brady and the Bucs would be more satisfying, but I think Brees and the Saints are a better match up for GB.

Beating Brady in the playoffs would be huge for Rodgers. If Rodgers wins it’s one for the GOAT discussion. If Rodgers loses the conversation is over and he will never be seen as better than Brady.

That being said I think the Buccs are a horrible matchup for us. They shut the run down and they close fast in passes underneath. Their D is susceptible to being beat for big plays. Their offense is a tough out for us. They can do everything well.

I think we slap the Saints and make them call us daddy. We probably beat both but I think the Saints are the better matchup.

That's my deep down/honest thought as well. Just bring it to Lambeau and show us what you've got.

Plenty of time to analyze more after the Buccaneers-Saints winner is revealed. It'll come down to our defense again. I've given up on our special teams return games. Back in the day Herb Adderley #26 and Willie Wood #24 (Hall of Famers) ran back kicks/punts. Packers Hall of Famer Elijah Pitts #22 did as well. Pitts' athleticism and versatility made him a natural for special teams, and Lombardi used him on every unit. He was an excellent kick and punt returner and a standout on the coverage units. "He played on every special teams unit we had," Hall of Fame Linebacker Dave Robinson #89 said. "He was Vince's kind of player: athletic, smart and durable." He even enjoyed hitting.

GO PACK GO!!

Saints.

Brees will throw multiple INTs in the cold.

Saints are the easier opponent. I honestly kinda think they are "pretenders" (if you will).

With that said, if we want to win a trophy, we have got to be able to knock off a team like Tampa. And I see the Buccs as a good opponent to prepare us for KC (the most likely AFC SuperBowl opponent) than NO.

I don't care too much about which team matches up with us more favorably like last year. This year, I feel like we are the team to beat.

Pretty clear result in favor of NO and I understand that Brees should be weaker in the cold than (cold-tested) Brady. So I will "root" for the home team tonight. But to be honest it will be relaxing in any way because even if TB wins it's not like last year's 49ers come to us.

Without at least two more SB wins for Rodgers, I think that ship has already sailed. Beating a 43 year old Brady in their first playoff match up would not have a huge impact on the GOAT conversation.

Also, I really want to rectify that (BAD) loss from earlier this year.

If we beat Tampa, then the only other team to have beaten us this year that we did not also beat at some point in the year will have been the Colts (the only other loss was Minny, but won against them earlier this year under normal conditions)... in their home... against the #1 D in the league at the time and eventual playoff team... in a game that ended in OT.

And what can I say? Rivers is a HOF QB who always seems to turn it on when he plays us. No real shame in losing there.

I agree with this. If he gets to 2 rings, he is in the same breath as Manning and Brees. Probably ahead of Brees. If he gets 3 rings, he goes ahead of Manning and starts to be in the conversation with Brady.

I mean I know Brady had a great team and system. But my goodness. 6 rings is absolutely ridiculous.
