Ringo's Random Musings about End Zones

I just can't wait to go watch Love practice, year after year after year after year, then we pick up the 5th year and I get to watch him practice that summer again, Rodgers retires, Love is given a1 yr prove it deal, and Love proves he was a very good practicer, we go 6-10, draft slot 12, and pick up the best WR in the class, Guty wants to help his QB .......
After Bart Starr's 1966 MVP and Super Bowl 1 championship season the Packers used their 1967 first round NFL draft pick on a QB named Don Horn #13. Result: In the following season's NFL championship game at Lambeau Field QB Bart Starr #15 ran the ball into the
south endzone on the 31Wedge play to beat Dallas in the Ice Bowl.
Fast forwarding to the 2020 season --> The Packers used their 2020 first round draft pick on a QB named Jordan Love #10. Result: In the following season's NFC championship game at Lambeau Field QB Aaron Rodgers #12 threw an incomplete pass in the
north endzone (don't know what the play call was) instead of attempting to run the ball in resulting in a field goal and a season ending loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Brett Favre's INT in the 2007 NFC championship game at Lambeau Field with first round draft pick QB named Aaron Rodgers on the bench was on a drive with the ball snapped on the
north endzone side of the 50 yard line.
Maybe the
north endzone is part of the issue in Titletown title games?

In reference to some now deleted posts:
Yes, Yoop, I was mistaken when RingoCStarrQB originally posted this thought in an old thread (now returned to the dustbin) that it was a new thread topic. Yes, I did (somewhat) mistakenly point out you were still criticizing the Love pick...my bad.
Now, can we move on?

sure, but just to be clear, I will never support the pick, but I have moved on, I've only mentioned Justin Jeffersons name several times in the last month

Some day... Yoop will be begrudging the Packers Front Office for not doing enough to support the living legend that is Jordan Love. He's always supported the pick, after all.

You have made that abundantly clear. Again and again. Just like this quoted post.

big difference between not supporting the pick, and not supporting the player.
YOU BROUGHT that response when you decided to go hunting for a post of mine you could complain about, to funny.

Perhaps. The only thing I know for sure is that whether Jordan Love is a HOF-worthy QB or falls flat on his face, you will be right either way. I look forward to the day. Truly, I do.

As long as Jordan Love plays more towards the South Endzone, I think we will be fine honestly.

I normally do, in fact I make it a point not to converse with APB or others who only want to make sarcastic remarks responding to me

Yes, really. We all take ourselves a bit too seriously at times.

No, sorry, you are wrong. Ringo brought that thread back to life and I simply didn't notice the time stamp on it as being an old, revived thread and instead mistakenly responded thinking it was new conversation. Again, my bad.
And no, I do not seek out old posts for reasons to disagree with you. There is plenty of that provided daily.
Now, we good? Can we move on?

I mean I'm the one that saw Ringo's old post. Thought it was funny because of how left field it was, but so totally Ringo,
and had to comment keeping it going.
