Paco Mock 2021.2

Post by paco »

Decided to throw together another mock with some newly assimilated info. I fully expect us to do some trading, but this one doesn't have any. Don't like that I didn't get CB earlier, but I think its solid overall.

29 - Jalen Mayfield, OT, Michigan
It was him or Asante Samuel. I went with the guy who can be our new bookend with Bakhtiari. Gives us flexibility with Billy.

62 - Christian Barmore, IDL, Alabama
Was sitting there at 62. Hard not to take him. Also missed out on more CB's unfortunately. But he'll be nice to pair with Clark.

92 - Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia
Hopefully can be our other starting outside CB or become it soon.

135 - David Moore, IOL, Grambling
Doubled up on the O-line. Another guy to develop inside. I've heard of him as a center option.

142 - Josh Imatorbhebhe, WR, Illinois
Had a big pro day. High ceiling guy that can sit behind Adams, Lazard, and MVS and not be forced into a big role right away.

173 - Robert Rochell, CB, Central Arkansas
CB or S :idn: Find a role for him and develop. Has ball skills.

178 - Chuba Hubbard, RB, Oklahoma State
Can we not escape Chuba as Packer? Apparently not.

214 - Rashad Weaver, EDGE, Pittsburgh
DE to develop. Did have knee issues in college.

220 - K.J. Britt, LB, Auburn
coverage LB/ST

256/Mr. Irrelevant - Brady Breeze, S, Oregon
ST/backup safety

I love Josh Imatorbhebhe as a Day 3 prospect. I also love Cornell Powell from Clemson and Simi Fehoko from Standford for Day 3 WR prospect.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Powell sneaks into Day 2.

could we get some moderation in here to get rid of conspiracy theory's, some in here are trying to have a adult conversation.

I also think Walker Little is my favorite OT prospect. I have absolutely no idea where he will go. I could literally see him go on any day of the draft.

The Draft Network has him in the 4th/5th round area which I think is WAAAAAY too low for him.

This actually turned out really nice; you waited on some positions we care about, mostly CB, but hit with two very strong prospects to bet on at that value. I LOVE Moore (and yeah, he played C a lot Senior Bowl week and impressed with how quickly and naturally he picked it up).

The first pick is my least favorite. Mayfield's workout stunk. Some people think he might be a guard. I'm just not sure what to make of him. One of my least favorite linemen for the draft value in this class. But after that, it was all uphill.

Also, while we're talking about sleeper WRs with traits, there's a Bermudan from Charleston who's 6'5" 220 and ran a 4.50. He was his (small school) team's top WR with like 1300 yards his final year, also, so he's not JUST traits (looking at you, Simi Feheko). Also Jalen Camp is 6'2" 226 and ran a 4.46 and is a core-4 special teamer.

Sorry, I just threw unrelated names in your mock thread. But this is a really nice result for a simulator.

Thanks Yoho. I always appreciate more names to check out. I was reading a bit more on Mayfield and some think him sitting for a year might be best. Having Turner around could make that feasible.
