Percent of vote the winner got will be in parenthesis, position change vs. 2020 will be in brackets.
Here's how this works:
Each day there is a new thread/poll, starting at #1, on down to whereever we get. The whole point of this exercise is to have something to talk about in the lean news months to carry us to camp. Each poll will be open for voting for 24 hours. New threads will only be created on weekdays. Ties will cause a runoff poll.
Simply voting is not enough!
Post why you voted for who you did and provide a player to add to the next poll (every poll will be a list of 10 guys, a new player is added to the list each day).
Here's the thing.
There is no criteria. This is an exercise to foster discussion therefore there are no clear criteria for ranking. Who is better right now? Who will have the best season? Who was better last year? Sort of a combo of them all? Do you take positional value into account? It really doesn't matter.

Lancaster I think has the safest snaps of anyone remaining.
Newman has the most upside. If he's a hit we could see him starting somewhere on the line this year. And I think he'll be the first man up on the OL if he isn't a starter.

Yeah I think it's time for Royce Newman to go.

Might need to have Ben Braden on the list, especially when the coach has said he may fight for a starting spot. At this point, I think he's got a better shot than Nijman or Van Lanen.

I'm definitely voting for Campbell but my second vote is sorta up in the air.
I feel like Lancaster could play 30% of our snaps or could be cut or anywhere in between.
I feel like Newman may play 0 snaps this year; don't fully get him seeing voted this high even if he was getting good OTA reps.
Campbell definitely has a role and his guaranteed money makes sure he's on the team. He has to be up soon if not now.

Funchess and Newman. Also, if Deguara is already voted in, it's time to get Dom Dafney on the list.

It is my opinion that the Packers have very little super bowl chances. If Rodgers comes back he might be unmotivated and is highly likely to revert to what he was a few years ago. Love will be too inexperienced, but of course there is only 1 way to fix that.
So, when faced with the choice of starting a journeyman overpaid veteran, start a rookie instead. When faced with the choice of playing a good but very old veteran and a younger player, go with the younger player.
Newman over Turner
Sternberger over Lewis
SB Champions, but in the 2022/23 season.

I'm so glad you have nothing to do with running the team. Those aren't just younger players. They're worse. We also just gave guaranteed money to the two veterans and cutting them or not starting them would simply waste that money. There is absolutely no logic to this post. It makes no sense. You waste money to put worse players on the field because you only think we should try to win if we have what is considered a "preseason super bowl chance," which we don't have according to you even though we were a play away from the Super Bowl with the same roster because Rodgers won't play well.

There are still a handful of better players than Lancaster. Mid-30's is about right for him, though. Lowry is ranked almost 10 spots higher despite there being 0 appreciable difference between him and Lancaster as players.

2nd day for Campbell, I expect Funchess to play a lot and well this year, but I wont waste a pick on him again cause he doesn't have a chance, not many agree with me concerning him, so I went with Lancaster as my 2nd choice, course he'll probably get cut if we bring in Atkins ( dreaming again)
come on Waldo put Dafney on the poll,
Dequara will really have to impress to beat out Daffney for reps.

Funchess because he's a proven player even though the last 2 years have been incomplete. I would have though he would have gone in the 20's.

I went Campbell and Funchess. Not necessarily a fan of either as players but both are veterans brought on the team to contribute. Otherwise the team would go with a younger player with more potential.
As much as people like Lazard, Funchess is a much better receiver than Lazard IMO. Lazard is a terrific blocker for the position but all around I would say Funchess is the more dynamic player. I would no be suprised at all to see Funchess play more of a role on the team.
Campbell has a ton of experience in a position group that has practically no experience outside of being forced into a starting role by way of injuries and default. Chances are he gets the early nod just based on his experience.

He's shown he can do it, that's for sure. I watched his interview and he seems like a really smart guy- so granting him a year + to learn the playbook gives him a leg up on making the team. I also like the vet presence on a team with legit Championship aspirations. My guess is he will make it real tough to cut him and accepting the reduced salary gives him a better chance to stick financially as well.

Did I convert some people to Jean-Charles? He's got 3 votes. I'm kind of oddly excited about him.

So glad you have nothing to do with the Packers. If you had, you would have have done something like bring back Dotson and bench Tauscher because a 7th round 2nd year man could not possibly be better than a 33 year old veteran.
I could give a rats ass about wasted money if it means that the team is better. A team does not get better by playing veteran journeymen or receivers over 37 years old.

IF the Packers had decided to move on from AR before this season, and decided this is gonna be a "Love's growing pains" -season, then it would've made sense to have a youth movement on the roster. Based on the off-season moves, we are obviously not doing that. The team will not get better long term by playing old vets you'll have to replace soon, but it can be better this season due to having those vets.
I know you've already moved on from AR, TheSkeptic , but if he does return, you may have to endure another year (even more) of winning football with him.

Funchess is more dynamic? Funchess is the better receiver? I think the reality is a bit more uncertain than that. It took Funchess 16 games of starting to reach 840 yards. Lazard started 3 in 2019 and accrued 477. Funchess is a marginal roster vet.
