Hey everybody....no time to relax, it's Bear Week.

I WAS GONNA POST THIS AT MIDNIGHT, HAHA

I'm hoping our injury situation gets better, but we're much better than them.

But this is a HUGE game for division standings. If they win they're tied for first. If we win, we're 2 full games up.

Gotta bring that quality effort.

I'm very confident.

Likely a little arrogant, but almost feel like we borderline clinch the division title with a win here. Already up 2 games on Chicago with the half game tiebreak, 2-0 in division, either 2 or 3 games up on Minnesota.

After this game, should be looking at Bakhtiari and Jenkins back. Hope they both play against Washington at least, otherwise doubt they’d then play on Thursday in Arizona.

I would feel that way if Minny had lost to the Lions, instead of getting that last second FG. As it is, I'll wait a little further into the season for it; but I understand what you mean.

As for the players returning for the Thursday Nighter, I am split on it. On one hand, missing one more game gives you ten extra days to heal. On the other, you can push yourself a little more knowing you have a ten day recovery period after. I'd go case-by-case on the guys, but I think there's merit to either approach. For soft tissue, certainly I wait the extra ten days. For ankles or knees? Maybe there is going to be bad soreness after the first outing regardless, and more recovery time makes it worth it.

Yeah I remember feeling that way after going 5-0 in 2015....and then we all know what happened.

Lotta ball game left.

That was the year I went into the military. Graduated BMT in October so I couldn’t the first third of the season. First game I got to see was the Broncos game and from there on offense looked like everything was impossible.

This season I just think things will improve getting players back. Gotta think we have been missing our 2 best lineman that play at all pro levels. We were missing our very good rookie center this week and we still have a learning rookie in Newman at RG. The run game will improve dramatically when they’re all healthy. I think also it helps open up the TEs because they won’t need to chip as often and of course the PA game opens up. It is obvious we are terrified to have Rodgers turn his back to the defense with Njiman.

Honstly, our offense right now has those moments where everything looks impossible too. The fortunate thing so far is our defense has played really well in the 1st half after the Lions game to keep the team in it and not get behind.

The injury thing...hopefully we get back to the mean there. If we follow the path of getting healthy, this team is very dangerous. If not, then it will be pretty tough to stay competitive with so many of our All Pro's out.

Like I said. Lotta ballgame left.

I sure hope you haven't jinxed things by making this statement. Way too much football left to play.

I just have no respect for any other team in our division. :P

While I do think we are the better team this game feels bigger then the last few battles. Their D is playing well. GB needs to get after Fields from the jump. Dont let him get any confidence. This could be a game where the sacks rack up.

No STs blunders and GB should win going away.

No score yet but I'll predict that awful player named Gary gets 3 sacks. Yep 3

I mean in terms of ramifications, this game is huge. We don't look at it as big because we expect to win, but a Bears win puts them in 1st place in the North.

I think I expect to win every week ha

Bears worry me more the Cincy by far. Div game against a rival that has won 2 straight. They know what a win means.

I hope we bury them bc close games age me

If we can get Myers and Jenkins back on the OL we should win this. Their O is atrocious but that defense is good, as usual.

Fields will probably be relegated to staying in the pocket with that hyper extended knee. Good opportunity to tee off on him and spook him early. We will handle business.

We did a good job making life hell for Joe Burrow, who is a better QB at this stage in their respective careers than Fields.

So yeah, I expect us to whoop their asses.

One of my very good friends is a Bears fan and he already started his &%$@ today. Talking about how good Khalil Mack is and Justin Fields is the future and how are we going to stop Allen Robinson. Heard it all before during the Chicken Cutlet era.

I can’t wait to &%$@ in their mouths.

Man seems you have a personal vendetta of a friend with opposing teams talking sh*t every week.

Please tell me this isn't gonna be the makeshift gameday thread for Bears week...?

Whoever has been creating them has been on point! Love the effort and detail!

Let's get a real Bears Week GDT going!
