Interesting

Like they aren’t content with the special teams.

Another fringe roster move that probably makes us better in the long run. Bradley has been bad.

They needed to fee up the PS spot for Jaylon Smith

You worry about a move like this messing with the mechanics of your kicking operation. Between the protection and Bradley sucking, this might actually jerk Crosby back into rhythm.

Very happy with this move.

BG sucks at drafting STs compared to TT.

Scott + Bradley or Mason Crosby....

....hmmmmmmm

Though to be fair, there were times during Mason's career everybody didn't love him.

2018 draft down to Jaire, Burks and MVS as only 3 on active roster?

My point stands, he was released at the end of TC and bad enough none of the other 31 teams wanted him either.

Hand injury? Rub some dirt on it.

"I'm the long snapper."

Oh.....

Wirtel is not only a long snapper... but the FASTEST LONG SNAPPER OF ALL TIME! :rotf:

SI:
At the Combine, he measured 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds and ran his 40 in 4.76 seconds. That was the fastest 40 by a long snapper in Combine history

Oh gosh, didn't we have a spate of posts about how his speed would help our punt coverage when we brought him in?

I was hoping you were going to say his snaps were the fastest...

Well, they don't do a 40 yard snap competition at the combine. But they should...

Good riddance. This in my opinion is the dumbest pick Gutey ever made. We can argue about drafting punters all day. I don’t think anyone is going to argue drafting a LS was a good move.

If you draft Brett Goode, I'm fine with it. When 99% of LS come from the undrafted population, though, you can't get it wrong and Gute did. It was a bad pick.
