Do the Vikings have it in them to drop another one?!

Sure they do. But wait until the final 2 minutes.

Honestly, I'm rooting for the Vikings in this one.

The Steelers will be vying for the services of Aaron Rodgers next year and they need a much higher draft pick if they want to be in contention

I am 100% on board with not getting a 2022 pick for Aaron. That team will probably want their first when they plan on competing next 1-3 years, plus we could get more.

If we are in the long haul with Love, I’d take double the picks even if they didn’t begin till 2023+, plus they to be much higher the longer we wait.

So 100% rooting for Pittsburgh to make them think their ready to compete

Yeah. Add in the fact all the Packers need to do is win 2 games...I am at the point that division rival losses only helps them for next year.

We aren't fighting for a division anymore. We have to win 2 games or we have bigger problems.

But by that strategy, you’re setting your trade partner up to actually compete for a championship. Now you’re talking trade compensation picks in the late 20s and 30s rather than potential ‘22 pick top 10 or mid teens not to mention those later round picks in the top half of each round.

Ok, on second thought the Steelers are NOT a QB away from competing for a championship. At least from what they’re showing tonight. Far from it.

If they’re foolish enough to mortgage their future for a couple years of Rodgers thinking he’s the missing piece, they’re delusional.

I could run through some of these holes side by side with about 50 elephants or other fat guys. How have the Steelers beat anyone this year?

They damn near did! Holy smokes, I thought that was gonna be a 30 pt win for the Vikes. They were lucky to get the win in the end. Another :30 sec on the clock and I bet the Steelers tie it up.

Only one team is making adjustments at halftime. And it's not mine. I actually quite watching after the Steeler's 3rd TD in 5 minutes. Honestly, my team didn't deserve the win.

Anybody catch the Chase Claypool 1st down celebration on the Steelers final drive?

No timeouts, Ben is forced to throw toward the middle of the field on 4th down to get the first and Claypool, being the glory doofus that he is, goes into a 1st down celebration pose-a-thon after the catch with the clock running under a minute to play.

I mean, how completely idiotic are you to be oblivious of the dire clock circumstance there?

I think he finally got a clue when his offensive lineman ran to him, physically took the ball from him and ran it back to the official. But holy hell, what an idiot.

Clayfool's response when questioned about it post-game:

seeing how MN has already beat us once I dont understand why we should pull for them when their wins just increase the chances we see them in the playoffs as they could very well be the 6 or 7 seed

Ummm... I see 5 or 6 responses to your post and it looks like you need a friend, here. I agree with you completely. Minnesota toiling in mediocrity is the ultimate win for the Packers. If we have to wait another week to clinch a playoff spot, so be it. If we see these bums in the playoffs, we should be celebrating. This notion that we have to put the big, scary purple monster to bed is completely perplexing to me. LaFleur has now lost two in a row to these guys, but we get a chance to right the ship again the first week of January. Color me tickled pink.

And if Mason misses the FG vs SF like he did vs MN we would be playing the 9ers who beat us too.

I don't get the fear in MN at all guys. We clearly outplayed them even short handed. We were in Cousins's face all day. He just had "one of those days" where he could do no wrong...even when he did do wrong.

Packers need to win two games to clinch the North. 2.

If we don't win the North, we got worse problems than the Steelers not ending the Vikings season.

Yeah, I would factor that in.

Tell Denver, sure we could have pick 16 this year, and maybe a contingent 2nd the following year, or you can keep 16, we'll take your 2023 1st, likely to be high 20', 2024 1st, and maybe toss in another 2nd or 3rd.

I don't think the quantity of picks you would ask for would be static without context.
