Scott4Pack - 1st mock

Here’s my first mock, using only what was given to me by Pro Football Network.
I wanted to prioritize the interior of the defense in round 1. It ended up that Queen was available at 30, so that was an easy pick, even if some like Murray more. Higher top end!
1 (30): ILB Queen. Murray and Queen both on board, as is OT Wills. Murray might be better against the run. But Queen has better instincts and might make a better QB for the D.
2 (62): WR Davis UCF. I wanted a guy for the offense here. DT Madubuike was available and that was very tempting, but having picked Queen, I went to the offense. WR Aiyuk was also on the board. But he doesn’t have the deep game as much as Davis. Davis can threaten down the field, has great hands and balance and could be a potential Jordy Nelson type.
3 (94): CB Pride. Wanted OL here. T Peart was still available. But so were CB Holmes and Pride. The upside on Pride seems too much to pass up. Will hope for a good OL option in the next round.
TRADED UP: New England had picks 98 and 100, so they seemed ripe. I acquired 100, while giving them 136 and my 3rd and 5th for 2021. (So, of course they took it!) Yeah, this was generous of me. But I wanted to trade up more than analyzing it.
4 (100): T Peart. I saw two athletic TEs there dangling in front of me. But I want some help on the OLine more and I want a guy who can potentially start, if pressed. Peart was the guy. Peart might’ve been available a dozen picks later. But it seemed like there was a drop off after him. And I wanted to trade picks more than being concerned with the value. Peart in round 4 made sense for me.
5 (175): OT Adeniji (Kansas). This guy is raw but has great footwork and hand skills. Has experience all along the OLine. Just the kind of guy the Pack likes.
6 (192): QB Anthony Gordon - Wash St. A strong arm who always keeps his eyes downfield. A developmental guy, for sure.
6 (208): G Damien Lewis - LSU. The system made this pick for me.
6 (209): S Tanner Muse - Clemson. A guy who fits Tiger Greene’s mold. More strength and aggression, less instinct and speed. A Pettine kind of guy.
7 (236): WR Stephen Guidry - Miss St. A guy with okay speed, but lots of other good qualities. Works routes well. Uses hands very well.
7 (242): TE Charlie Warner - Georgia. The mock made this pick for me.
