Big and Physical. Heavy hands. If he learns better technique, he can do some things.

I think I'm MEH on this one. Hopefully it isn't a Millen Grade in a few years.

You don't get Millen grades on 5th rounders. Lot of people had him as a top 100 pick.

Lots of people who aren't NFL GMs, apparently!

Scout keeps saying thick and strong. Thick lower body and sets the edge well. But can bend too. Injury and bad advice may have led to putting on extra weight and timing poorly.

His production and where he was ranked, I wish I hadn't glanced over when seeing testing numbers. Sounds like he's going to get to really perfect what he does well from Preston.

I think even the homer's will have a hard time polishing this one. A letdown pick for me

That shuttle and 3-cone, that is why. Those are Dline numbers, not OLB numbers. Hopefully he plays a lot quicker than this

I dig it, sounds like a guy who should be able to give us some solid snaps in the EDGE rotation. The athleticism is fine, not elite but should be able to work at this level. As a late 5th (basically flyer territory) that's not a bad pick.

And the assistant director of college scouting said those numbers are not indicative of how he plays on the field. He mentioned a leg injury and possible bad advice on putting on extra weight. So someone give me a reason to not be thrilled with him outside of the testing numbers. Because everyone else imaginable seems to think this was a slam dunk pick at this slot.

Friday morning my wife asked me who the Packers selected. I was dog tired from staying up late. I told her. She said, "Are they any good?" I said, "We won't know until three or four years down the road."

To which she said, "Then why the $%@# did you stay up all night?!"

I'd have preferred a different position group, preferably CB/S/slot WR. But Enagbare may end up being a great pick. Time will tell.

Good college production as well. Did well against the run as well.

Yeah but the forum scouts spent 15 seconds looking at the RAS and saw the color yellow and red more then green.

So....you know...

Some of us are very skeptical of taking sub par athletes with good technique. The reason is that they'll always be sub par athletes with good technique. They have hit their ceilings. An elite athlete that can be coached has a better chance of earning a spot (or so our thinking goes).
