Re: Rodgers Reconciliation Solution Thread

If Rodgers is adamant he will not play for pack and the pack have tried everything - he will be traded before or at start of the season. They aren't going to let him sit for a year. This is my point.... why not? Explain to me why not. Why do we need 2022 draft picks before the 2021 season? What is ...

Re: Rodgers Reconciliation Solution Thread

we got lucky with Clark when we took him late 20's, I hate drafting DT late first round, most take about 3 years to play up to draft status, if they ever do, then cost to much to resign, still gotta have them so teams have to gamble and take them. I must say, at least you're consistent. Whoever the...

Re: Rodgers Reconciliation Solution Thread

In terms of the DL, the Packers havent addressed the position in the draft in earlier than the 5th round since 2017 when they drafted Montravious. we got lucky with Clark when we took him late 20's, I hate drafting DT late first round, most take about 3 years to play up to draft status then cost to...

Re: Rodgers wants out

funny how the teams that usually have beaten us have better rosters, more impact players, there QB's have 3, 4 or even 5 quality receivers, there defenses have quality lbers, and we have Rodgers Adams and Jones, so ya when ya Lose Jones and Adams is held in check it's harder to win That's just not ...

Re: 2021 UDFA

Just think special teams. A couple of draft picks, Jean-Charles, McDuffie and maybe a UDFA like Uphoff Throw in Amari Rodgers for the return game. Maybe they can actually hold they're own this coming season. Hopefully. It's interesting, I had a whole list of high-quality college ST players with NFL...

Re: 2021 UDFA

I skimmed through Uphoff's NFL.com scouting report during Day 3 drafting and thought he looked like an interesting prospect. I like the idea of giving him a look. Yeah, our #4 safety spot is wiiiide the heck open (Henry Black?) so it's nice to have someone who might know how to play and can help on...

Re: Rodgers wants out

COVID put the Packers in a cap crunch, but that's an inconvenient truth that doesn't fit the narrative. Didn't the cap go down for all teams equally? It did and that's why most teams were in cap trouble and we saw the volume of players being cut in 2020. We were able to sign the top DT, LT, and one...

I wonder if Alex Trebek would have threatened retirement if he found out they had offered Aaron his job to replace him down the road.
Compared to Trebek, Rodgers is Jay Cutler.

Re: Rodgers wants out

I just don't like seeing people get joy out of watching things they supposedly love burn. And that is what he is doing. I mean think of all his coaches, teammates, fans, friends, etc. getting hurt by this decision he has made. This is why I'm such a hardline, anti-Rodgers stance in all these argume...

Re: Rodgers wants out

One thing I'm not sure how it works. If Rodgers holds out until the start of the season to be traded and then retires he has to pay back his guarantees. I get that. But at that point youve missed out of the opportunity to sign people with the money allocated to him. Then next offseason right before...

Re: Rodgers wants out

I posted a theory a few months back on FF about the possibility that Rodgers and Adams might get together to form an exit plan and join a contending team ala Brady and Gronk. Rodgers probably doesn't want to start all over again to form a new rapport with a new WR that will take a few years to deve...

Makes a guy wonder how much Mrs.-to-be is pulling his strings behind the scenes.
I'm thinking the same thing. I seriously doubt she has any intrest in living in Wisconsin.

Re: Round 1 (26) - Jordan Love, QB Utah State

I would say both Wilson and Rodgers were impacted by watching TB12 roll down to TB, gain complete control, bring his buddies to town, and win a ring. They all want to call their own shots now and do it that way. Unlike what they may think tho, they just aren’t TB12. People arent signing for less to...

Re: Ghost's Crystal Ball and AR

well you can be tired of it all you want, it's human nature, and no different with high priced athletes, respect is shown with contract dollars orrrr the simple courtesy of being included even to a modest degree with team (company ) decisions. Funny, aren't you the same guy who moans about players ...

Re: Ghost's Crystal Ball and AR

AR is no different then most of us, if we put our heart into something we want the security that we'll be allowed to continue that love ( no pun) affair, Rodgers wants to know that he'll be allowed to continue as the starting QB till it's obvious he needs to retire, I doubt it's about money, it's m...

Re: Rodgers wants out

that was the point Lewis was making, he wants Rodgers back, he knows if Rodgers goes, so does his ring. I bet there isn't a person here that thought Tampa would win the SB when Brady went there, a team that would give a lot to get Rodgers would also give as much as possible to help Rodger achieve t...

Re: Ghost's Crystal Ball and AR

I think a deal has been worked out with Denver. Rodgers will be traded post June 1, making the cap acceleration actually manageable. We will get Patrick Surtain and 2022 and 2023 high picks. Our secondary will be elite for years to come. They get AR. So many things make this highly, highly unlikely...
