McVay's 2017 Rams team was first in points. It wasn't the system that led to a mediocre season for Rodgers. Vikings' line is what might limit their offense:

The skill positions have talent.

That defense looks mediocre at best.

Vikings will score some points, but I don't think they have sustained success, more like hit on a few big plays.

Packers offense will not miss a beat.

Nervous because it's at MN and the crowd will be jacked. Would love to see a huge dose of Dillon and Jones to set the tone on offense. Establishing a run game and long drives will take the crowd out of it. On the flip side, hoping the Defense lives up to the hype.

I'm nervous because last year the team came out flat on the road against a rival conference foe after resting all the starters during pre-season and got their collective asses handed to them by the Saints.

The only difference to this year's approach has been...change the week one match-up to a rival road division foe.

I think our offense will struggle. Especially the pass game. We need to pound the rock right at Z and play good defense. We can win this though. I predict we miss a FG too.

17-10

Minny has some nice pieces on its D but our Offense will find it much easier to move the ball against them compared to what they have been going up against in 'camp this past month, provided we can keep the crowd from making up the difference. If so, we will find a groove on O and our D should hold. God, I hope the ST unit starts looking competent.

23-17 Pack.

It’s kind of wild to me how we’ve spent the whole offseason taking up our potentially historic defense and come game time, 60% or so seem to think the Vikings will score 20+ against us. Almost all at least 13. Only NCF and me in single digits.

I guess I’m garbage time they might add some easy points.

Well to be fair, here are the predictions: 18,13,6,10,24,3,20,10,20, which is a 13.7 average. A season long average of that would make a generationally good defense. Average drops top 12.5 if we get rid of Raptor's ridiculous 24 point prediction.

I think on a whole, we are incredibly bullish on this D.

Packers O comes out sluggish a lot in week one. I specifically said the D would be the reason we win this one.

I predict over time with a goose egg after 60 minutes of play, the vicky's win the flip, Cousins throws a out, Stokes jumps it high pointing the ball and races 35 yards for the game winning TD, we get a win and a shut out to start the season

Can't wait for the Justin Jefferson vs our corners -battle. And how much pressure Kirk will be under.

And whether the Vikes load the box, and how we respond. How the young WRs and Watkins look like.

And how our starting STs unit fare, especially the coverage ones...

Generally just can't wait. It's almost football time!

Not really a neckbreaker if we lose, nice take away if we win. One of the few games that won‘t feel nailbiter-ish. I want to see us come out and play as a team that eyes SBLVII right from the start. Go Packers, Go all the way!

Yeah, good luck with that. The last time the Packers held other teams to 13 ppg was 1996, Possible? Yes. Probable? Don't think so. Not this year. I will say this. Any team that can do it however will more than likely win the Super Bowl.

It could be that the Queens run back 2 kickoffs and ST gives up 14 points, you know..... They may have been fixed but they are like a 1960's car engine, massively out of tuning.
