Percent of vote the winner got will be in parenthesis, position change vs. 2019 will be in brackets.

Here's how this works:

Each day there is a new thread/poll, starting at #1, on down to whereever we get. The whole point of this exercise is to have something to talk about in the lean news months to carry us to camp. Each poll will be open for voting for 24 hours. New threads will only be created on weekdays. Ties will cause a runoff poll.

Simply voting is not enough!

Post why you voted for who you did and provide a player to add to the next poll (every poll will be a list of 10 guys, a new player is added to the list each day).

Here's the thing. There is no criteria. This is an exercise to foster discussion therefore there are no clear criteria for ranking. Who is better right now? Who will have the best season? Who was better last year? Sort of a combo of them all? Do you take positional value into account? It really doesn't matter.

Going to think about this one.

Runyan has the most upside, but probably won't get any snaps

Burks has the highest starting potential, but we just picked Martin ahead of him, and if he loses out to Martin, I'm not even sure he makes the 53

Tonyan I feel is a safe contributer. He'll play on offense and ST and I feel he has a safe roster spot

Light is the swing tackle

Patrick is the backup C. Center play is pretty lacking among the prospects vying for backup OL spots, he might be pretty safe. I think Cole Madison can play C too, but he might be a PUP guy.

As always, if there is anyone else you think might make the 53, toss out the name.

I'm going Burks. He will still get first crack at that starting spot and even if he does lose out, I think his roster spot safer than what Waldo suggested. He is a core ST guy and given the lack of practice time this year, I think that counts more this year than any other in recent memory.

I'm going Patrick; I think he gets int he game before Lane Taylor if I'm honest.

Right now I'm stuck with my backup QB and my 6th OL both still being available, but the BOARD has determined the 6th OL and backup QB to be someone else, so like, 7th OL and QB3? Maybe lower.

I dunno.

I think the ST focus is a good one at this point as well. Does Josh Jackson play ST? I was high on Ento in camp last year; it'll be interesting to see if he makes any kind of leap. I think Vernon Scott has a pretty good chance to make the roster and contribute on ST, as he did in college and has the requisite physical attributes.

Couldn't agree more. I will go likely Lucas Patrick next.

Tonyan I think.

Burks, but he has no instincts for the position.

I wanted no part of Burks last year or this year.

Guy still looks lost when on the field on D, just can't see the game good enough. Linebackers don't go from liability year 1 and 2 to competent year 3.

I went with Burks, he's struggled to pick up Pettines defense and the will lber position, it seems as though he's fast on his feet, but a tad slow upstairs which leads to slow reaction times, his ability on ST's makes him a lock for another season, and being a slow learner isn't a curse as long as he eventually finds the light switch

Burks probably is not even #53 in my books.

Patrick, then Tonyo.

Tonyan then probably go with a name I haven't seen yet, in Josh Jackson.

37 picks in and I'm finally going to weigh in! New job, you know...

Going Tonyan here. Given the new scheme I think we'll continue to see multiple TE's on the field and Tonyan can do everything OK. Patrick looked good to me in his time on the field last year and is likely my next pick. Burks doesn't stand a chance. I'm with BF, if the light hasn't come on by now, it never will.

I'll join team Tonyan. He'll definitely play on offense and ST, and could feasibly be the #1 TE if all the cards fall the right way. Don't see any roster spot risk there at all, and even a peak non-injury downside he probably still gets some offensive snaps.

Been voting Runyan for several spots not, doing it again. Close between him and Patrick.
