Yeah everyone is gushing over Pacheco this week because of the matchup. I don’t know, I think different than most. I can see him scoring like 12 fantasy points.APB wrote: ↑15 Dec 2022 11:59You don't think gameflow will favor Pacheco? I expect an early big KC lead then some run, run, running from RBs. I actually think Pacheco is in line for a nice game.
If Mike White wasn't an injury risk, I think I'd be inclined to play Wilson. With a significant threat of Zach Wilson seeing the field, though, I'm leary.NCF wrote:Against Detroit's defense, I think I might take that chance. Wilson is already a WR1 stud.

$%@# Titans.
Here I am, gearing up for my fantasy final and see they're sitting most of their starters, Derrick Henry likely included, so they can be rested for next week's showdown with Jacksonville.
Who rests their starters the week before the season finale??

Haha, yeah that screws me for a league too. WTF.
That’s one drawback to pushing leagues to week 17, lots of players out for different reasons.

Looks like TN is going full pre-season mode for this game. They are gonna start Josh Dobbs at QB, the dude they just signed last week, to insure Malik Willis will be available for next week. They're apparently gonna rest many on defense, too.
I'm half tempted to start Dak Prescott this week. Prescott is probably gonna get some cheap, long scores out of this matchup. Only thing holding me back is it's likely the game script is gonna go away from Prescott throwing the ball.
Well that, and my regular starter is Josh Allen facing Cincy in what will likely be a high scoring fantasy-palooza type game.

I started Dak. Pretty disappointed in his performance but options were thin as Hurts was my starter and I had been holding Dak after some idiot released him while he was hurt.APB wrote: ↑29 Dec 2022 13:10Looks like TN is going full pre-season mode for this game. I have an option at flex to either play Garrett Wilson, Christian Watson, or Mike Williams. I'm leaning Towards Watson for the matchup at home vs a weak defense. Wilson is the clear best player but he plays the Seahawks on the road who are stingy against the pass.
Cancelled by the forum elites.
I picked up Dak the same way. Held him all year as injury insurance for Allen.lupedafiasco wrote: ↑31 Dec 2022 13:15I started Dak. I lost Derrick Henry on Thursday and now I’m without Nuke Hopkins, as well. I’m having to insert Gabe Davis and JK Dobbins as starters for my championship matchup. If Davis can have one of his out-of-the-blue boom games, I may survive. Not terribly confident tho seeing as the weather is supposed to suck in Cincy tmrw night.
Any commissioners out there?
Been thinking how to proceed with championship weekend scoring in light of Bills-Bengals postponement. Multiple teams with players active in that game.
My initial options that come to mind:
1) leave it as a final score, as is, just like when a player gets injured. &%$@ happens.
2) allow week 18 scores from players/positions affected by postponement. I believe Bills and Bengals are playing starters week 18.
3) declare a tie in all matchups and divvy any money equally among contestants.
Anybody have any other thoughts/ideas?

#1 hands down. Unfortunate, but the most fair way to handle it with the least drama.APB wrote: ↑03 Jan 2023 14:17Any commissioners out there?

#2 may work, but I could see more kvetching about it due to matchups and such.
#3 the guy winning right now would revolt, I think.
In the Championship in my league, up 55 points with Higgins against Chase and Burrow. I would definitely be beyond pissed if it was just a tie. I could live with #2.
Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
In one of my leagues title matchup, top seeded team is down 63 pts but has Josh Allen, Tee Higgins, and Gabe Davis all starting. Opponent had no players affected.
Option one would be a tough pill to swallow for the top seeded guy missing 3 players from his lineup.
