So, let's say with 2 games left, I am out of the playoffs, but out of the bottom 4, what's stopping me from tanking

How would that be any different from now?

Massive seeding and draft positioning week. Waldo and I both off to strong starts; flea has it as a 51/49 prospect through these two games. Curtis Samuel lighting it up out of nowhere from the bench (hasn't had more than 4 catches or 43 yards since week 5; 9 for 100 today) might be a decisive roster decision

I’m already like 20 points below projection and Nick is 2 points over early on, not a great start for me.

Eh, you are fine. My lineup isn’t very good. I have a few players that will score very low points.

So why is that a concern all of a sudden?

If we think tanking is a problem, or could become a problem, the way to handle it is to dissociate the draft pick from team start/sit decisions by using the optimum points for(OPF) to determine draft pick for teams that don't make the playoffs. It's the best reflection of roster strength. Easy to see right now, for instance, that the bottom three teams in OPF are also the bottom three in standings.

Oh neat! I didn't know you could check that--and also the season-long percentage of optimum points. Sort of sad to see that I have the 3rd-highest percentage of my possible points and yet that has still resulted in being a coin flip for the first overall pick

How can you not get 8 points from Tua when the Dolphins put up 34.

Should be able have a fun little debate this offseason, 2 against 2 so far.

Could certainly tweak up the proposal some.

But could actually definitely help parity, I’ve been a tanking team before, I just basically checked out for the most part.

Perhaps we could also change to resetting waiver priority each week off record? And teams who just suck and aren’t active will just stay bad. Totally content with them tossing in their $20 a year.

Any suggestions to improve on the idea?

Likely against, in a 10 team league the #7 team may be quite a bit better than the #10- like keeping it that way. I do use max points in a few of my dynasties, but clear tanking rarely happens, and if someone doesn't follow that rule, they can lose their pick or be done.

Regarding waivers, is there an option of FAB instead of waiver order? I prefer it immensely.
