I love to dabble in carpentry, but have kind of branched in to nearly everything now, electrical, plumbing, hvac, flooring. Wanted to see if others have projects they work around the house or just for fun.

Here I redid our closet, took out the carpet and put in plank floor and added some shelves and drawers.

I finally got around to swapping out stock handlebars on my '16 Softail Slim S to 12' mini apes. Running internal wires was a pain but well worth the clean look. Absolutely love the new look of the bike.

This is the current project. Redoing the mast shower. At one time there was a wall and a door there. Took it out to open it out, raised the ceiling, put in 4 LED lights.

Looks good. My wife and I finished the tile in the shower today. Tomorrow she grouts it. Then I put up the shower unit and we can use it. Glass panel might have to wait. We need to find the right one.

Want to put a pegboard wall in my garage, approximately 200 sq feet. I have heard from numerous people if they had to do it or do it again they would get the 1/4" pegboard. The issue is 4x8 sheet of that stuff goes for roughly $100/sheet. I have also found 3/16" listed as their standard pegboard sheet. This varies in price, but I have found it for around $25/sheet. Also, the cheap &%$@, 1/8", goes for about $15/sheet. Why is there such a ridiculous price gap between the 3/16 and 1/4? I assume everyone that has ever done this goes with the 3/16 and tells everyone else, "If I ever had to do this again..."

So, 1/8 = $15, 3/16 = $25, and 1/4 = $100. Do I just need to look harder? I want the white finish, not that it should matter much.

Personally, I would do slatwall if I was to do it over again.

I did 1/8” in the barn at the old house. Warped badly in the humidity, couldn’t get it flat.

I would absolutely get the thickest possible.

I wish. Has a rain shower in the head as well as a waterfall. Two horizontal sprays and a handheld wand. Depending on water pressure, which ours sucks, you should be able to use two at a time.

It's what the wife wanted. At least it's easy to change out. Just hangs there on a couple of brackets.

The wife and I have been pondering in our post kids thru college and daughter married, remodel the ranch properly or move to a lake place further out from the Twin Cities. Before the crisis kicked in we worked with a mortgage guy to get it lined up to either a cash out and remodel or buy another place. Been looking at lake places has to be the right place on the right lake at the right price. Lake places are on sale looking again friday evening at a place that checks a few boxes, we walked the exterior last weekend, take $40,000 off the asking price and we may have a deal.
