Thursday Night Opener watch thread

Post by YoHoChecko »

Anyone watching this?

The Texans' offense looks surprisingly diverse and fun. Getting rid of Hopkins and focusing on spreading it around and getting the ball out quick is yielding positive results and both D. Johnsons look relevant in the backfield.

Nothing groundbreaking or anything. Just... enjoyable

This is a pretty good match. Both offenses look better than I thought they would. The small crowd in attendance is pretty loud. Perhaps if this works other teams will add some fans to future games.

Not a bad game so far, doesn’t look sloppy, looks real.

Very happy

Mahomes just made an audible at the line by calling out "Lambeau! Lambeau!"

You sure it wasn't Lambo, Lambo referring to his vehicle? :)

Watson is average without Hopkins bailing him out with incredible catches. I’ve always felt Watson was a massively over rated QB by the media. There’s no way Houston doesn’t clean house after this season.
Cancelled by the forum elites.

This one's over. It was promising to be a good game in the beginning.

Not sure I’m ready to make a blanket judgement on Watson at this point, but the offense certainly looks much worse without Nuk. No bailout option for Watson. Wil Fuller just isn’t that guy.

This game is over. Just a matter of how much they lose by.

Watched this one like I do NASCAR---saw the beginning and then fell asleep, but woke up for the finish.

I had more fun browsing a Texans game day thread to be honest.

Started off good though.
