Gave them all they could handle but ultimately couldn’t make the plays that would’ve clinched it.
Great game to watch, heartbreaking way to end. Feel like we outplayed them.
Proud of these kids nonetheless!

Hey, at least we can get rid of Barry now

Don’t hold your breath. He called some good games down the stretch. Saved his own butt.
We were hoping for something highly improbable: youngest team in the league, minimal playoff experience, knocking out all the top dogs. Didn't happen; it usually doesn't.
But it's been a fun season. Let's get some safeties worth a damn, eliminate other liabilities like Campbell, try and make a real push.

Now that we got statement out of the way, can we be critical of the team?
Wtf was that. We outplayed them all game, but once again we didn’t make “nail in the coffin” plays.
They did. Some massive catches they had on their last drive.
While we miss FGs and drop INTs.
Every year, same story!!

Well, Love has been here now. Hopefully next year he continues his rise. It was a great first year for him. Too bad that his second half play was one of the big reasons we didn't win. He will be kicking himself over an over for a couple days. Then, forget about and plan on getting back here in a year and winning the whole thing.
Yea and Savage and Carlson didnt help either.

why did Jones need so many breaks? This is the playoffs?!?!
He’d get us to the red zone and then leave everytime!! That’s when we needed him

Awesome season, heartbreaking end. My fear is we would get steamrolled.
Surprised 49ers did not run more. Clark balled out all night. We just did not finish in the redzone enough. Savage played awful. Kicker and long snapper we need some competition. Just wish Love lived to fight another day on that last pass.

I don’t really blame Barry at all, every packers defensive coordinator since I can remember has given up a td in that spot at end of game. Why would I hate him for that?
He can’t make em pick the ball.

Hell of a game. Hell of a season.
Damn kickers.
Damn kickers.
This was an awful thing for Lafleur to say. Show unrelenting confidence in your kicker or find a new one

I truly believe Bisaccia has full say over his 3 specialist and probably 2-3 other core special teams guys on the 53. He came in the highest paid and changed roster construction philosophy around special teams.
Some of these takes are hilarious.
The Packers went toe-to-toe with who many consider the SB favorites. The youngest team in the league showed their age in crunch time and couldn’t pull it out but, by god, they gave them all they could handle.
And some of you revert right back to your sorry “same as every year” pissing and moaning.
I’m disappointed with the loss but more than happy with how they battled and arguably outplayed the supposed juggernaut 49ers. This is gonna be a good team for many years to come!
The 9ers sucked balls too. Kittle. Purdy. etc all made dumb plays.Drj820 wrote: ↑20 Jan 2024 22:35THE SEASON WAS OVERALL A SUCCESS

I can't believe Savage and Nixon. 3 dropped INTs. FFS
That’s why it hurts. It was all right there for the taking. Just needed to go grab it.go pak go wrote: ↑20 Jan 2024 22:45The 9ers sucked balls too. Kittle. Purdy. etc all made dumb plays.Drj820 wrote: ↑20 Jan 2024 22:35THE SEASON WAS OVERALL A SUCCESS

The game was not lost on a bad call on 4th and inches
The game was not lost on dropped ints
The game was not lost on the final picked pass
The game was not lost by Savage or Carlson or the long snapper
All these could have been overcome
The game was lost on Zach Tom getting hurt and the fact that Nijman sucks. Love lost his mojo when he knew that his RT was a turnstile - and I don't blame Love for that.
Draft a safety. Draft a swing tackle. Resign JRJ and Dillon. And beat SF next year.
Hell of a season, be proud of it

I think what hurts so much is they literally do this EVERY YEAR.Drj820 wrote: ↑20 Jan 2024 22:47That’s why it hurts. It was all right there for the taking. I like getting my a$$ kicked more. It's easier. Instead the choke gene is inserting itself in this new team.
Savage has to go. I am going to be adamant we gotta get chokers out of this team. This is two playoff games that Savage has cost us now.
