Vikings seemed interested in McCarthy over Penix, or at least it seemed that way to me. may be breathing a sigh of relief.

Surprised they did not trade down. Bears only have a 3rd and 4th round pick left.

So now that we know that da Bears are loading the offense, does that put pressure on Guty to draft CB or Safety first? Make a move?

I mentioned a month ago Penix would go high and was better then most wanted to give him credit for, he throws a pretty ball, but he needs some time for the game to slow down for him, he's older though which GM's shy away from, but athletically he's attractive, not to surprised with Atlanta taking him, with Cousins Penix wont be rushed in.

Wonder what the vikes had to give up. It's only one spot but a premium one. They have no 2nd or 3rd rounders this draft.

Well…. Jordan Love was 20, Nix will be 24 soon.
