Lane Taylor - Season Ending Knee Injury

That sucks so bad for Lane. Worked his butt off to make it back.
The Packers lunatic fringe is more visible because of sheer numbers. The Packers have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. If the fringe percentage is the same as with other teams, then we end up with larger volumes of nut jobs. - JustJeff
Yeah my guess is ACL.
I feel for him personally. The dude got what...6 quarters of being healthy in two years? I mean you see what he did to fight back after last year's bicep injury or pec injury...whatever it was.
And honestly he was far better at a 6th of the price than the guy who will be replacing him now.

Just awful. Feel for him.
Next man up, hopefully he can come back from this.

Not necessarily. Patrick seems OK so he could be RG with Wagner at RT.
I’d rather see Turner than Yosh Nijman.
Wow, that sucks. I thought the guy didn't have anything left in the tank before this season started and he proved me wrong, clawing his way back into the starting lineup over a highly-paid (albeit mediocre) incumbent. He always worked to get the most out of what he had for us and put forward some damn good years. You can't ask for more from a UDFA.
It seems unlikely that he comes back from this, but he has proven me wrong with that once before, so... who knows? Regardless:

Sucks for Taylor. Such a great guy.

unfortunate
Sucks. I thought based on the replay that he had a neck injury or something, because his neck kinked a weird way and then he didn't really move for a couple minutes. But when he walked to the cart I figured he was fine since those injuries are often either career ending or nbd. This blows.

on a more positive note, looks like Patrick will be good to go. Need bodies on that line.
That is a good thing, more so as a back-up OC, IMO, but we can't afford to start losing bodies here, regardless.mnpackerbacker wrote: ↑15 Sep 2020 04:32on a more positive note, looks like Patrick will be good to go. Need bodies on that line.

Sounds like Lane ain't done.
Good luck to him whereever he plays next year.
Runyan looked good for his first time out.
