Percent of vote the winner got will be in parenthesis, position change vs. 2023 will be in brackets.
Here's how this works:
Each day there is a new thread/poll, starting at #1, on down to whereever we get. The whole point of this exercise is to have something to talk about in the lean news months to carry us to camp. Each poll will be open for voting for 24 hours. New threads will only be created on weekdays. Ties will cause a runoff poll. You may vote up to TWO players (a change that was made mid-poll last year, seemed to work well).
Simply voting is not enough!
Post why you voted for who you did and provide a player to add to the next poll (every poll will be a list of 15-20 guys, new players added in bunches every few days).
Here's the thing. There is no criteria. This is an exercise to foster discussion therefore there are no clear criteria for ranking. Who is better right now? Who will have the best season? Who was better last year? Sort of a combo of them all? Do you take positional value into account? It really doesn't matter.

From the last thread so it doesn't get buried. Pretty crazy how close we are:
Let me know is there is anyone that should be getting votes that I'm missing.
Sticking with Wooden and McDuffie today. Its about time to start thinking backup QB soon. Once we get into backups, the backup QB is pretty darn important.

McDuffie may be our best run defending lber, either way as our #3 ilb he'll see a lot of playing time, same with Wooden, but to brak this tie I'am only voting for Duffy today, Wooden on deck.
McDuffie
and then Evan Williams. I think Colby Wooden is in the conversation as well.

I went McDuffie as a likely starter in base and a likely heavy STs contributor. I went with Evan Williams next. Hes next man up at starting S and I can see him getting a lot of playing time in big nickel looks or if we play Bullard any in the slot.
Meanwhile Wooden is buried on the depth chart. Hes likely DT 5 with Clark, Wyatt, Slaton, and Brooks all ahead of him. I still think hes a year away from being a legit contributor.

Cancelled by the forum elites.
I went with a single vote for McDuffie today. He's far and away the most likely remaining player to contribute and be impactful.
Next up is wide open. I'm leaning Evan Williams but could be persuaded on a number of players, namely Wooden, Ballentine, King, Clifford, or Dillard.

McDuffie.
Wooden. He has put on some muscle, which will help him greatly. He has a little extra versatility now too by lining up at DE, so injuries at either position could get him on the field. They rotated him in last year as a raw rookie, I expect he will see a bit more snaps this season.
