Green Bay will travel to Denver to have a joint practice with the Broncos on Friday before the game on Sunday.

This will be the 11th time the two teams have faced in the preseason (3-7).
Sunday will be the first preseason meeting between the Packers and Broncos since a 2017 meeting in Denver.
With the three-game preseason schedule implemented in 2021, the Packers will alternate between hosting one and two preseason games each year. This year, the Packers start with two road games before the Baltimore Ravens come to Lambeau Field to close out the preseason.
The matchup with the Ravens is designated as the Packers Give Back Game and will recognize Wisconsin Literacy as the nonprofit honoree. Hundreds of Wisconsin Literacy guests will receive a free bus ride to the game, a food and beverage gift card, and tickets to a designated area in the south end zone. Prior to kickoff, several Wisconsin Literacy members will take the field to be recognized. Wisconsin Literacy is a coalition of literacy agencies dedicated to changing lives and strengthening communities through knowledge and advocacy. Founded in 1985, the organization supports over 80 member agencies, serving more than 11,000 adult learners and their families statewide. Packers-broncos, MNF game.
My son begs us to stay up a wee bit later and watch OT... and while Dad gave the green light, Mom says "you can watch first drive"
Its a school nite !

Here's the Vegas win totals for 2024
The bettors are not looking favorably on the Sean Payton broncos, they're currently # 31 in the league at O/U of only 5.5 wins
Some of the bettors might still be stinging from the 70 pts the broncos gave up to the dolphins

Wow, what a nice looking stadium!

So, no starters in this one? I'm in Southern Califonia and I believe we will be getting the game on the NFL channel. I will watch the entire game. Go Pack Go!!

Sounds like the Packers sucked in practice today. Time to tear it all down and start over. Betting McCarthy will be available next year.....

As long as there were no injuries, it doesn't matter :beer2:

The Packer players get a little extra time to adjust to the altitude - leaving Titletown on Thursday and traveling to mile high to exert themselves in a practice on Friday and a game on Sunday. They won't be fully adjusted by Sunday evening- that takes longer, but they do have more time than what they get during a regular season visit when they arrive on a Saturday and play on Sunday.

These guys will see a slight increase in production of endogenous EPO and that stimulates red blood cell production and increases oxygen carrying capacity. Per the literature, Effects are greatest between days 1-3 of being at altitude with a slow increase up to 12-18 days in that environment. Its typical for humans to be sluggish the first day, regaining energy and endurance as the body responds over time. The NFL would never allow it, but I think it would make sense to allow visiting teams to dose their players with EPO starting a week before they travel to Denver.
That would level the playing field athletically

the Denver stadium is a very nice stadium. The area around it has decayed in recent years and really sucks more than it should. But the stadium is great. Concessions are very good and improved from not long ago. The seats are fine in the lower bowl. The scoreboards are easy to spot from anyplace. And Packer fans travel well to there. Who could ask for more from any stadium not in Green Bay?
Come on down and try some of our delicious green chili! Best in the world!

I go to Denver twice a year for work, Aurora area along Tower Road, and the number of homeless people who simply park their vehicles along the side of the road and set up residence is eye popping. Crime is now a big issue, too. We are forced to park all our rental vehicles not at the hotel but within the gated training facility across from the hotel due to the break-ins that were occurring almost nightly. The expansion and construction throughout the area is through the roof, but so is the homelessness and crime, it seems. Beautiful area, environmentally, of course.

Amazing throw on 3rd from Clifford to Heath. Really poor adjustment by Heath IMO. Under throw to Bo there on 4th.
