Just a fun little visual

Stuck on 99 wins since that big win over the Joe Philbin Packers in 2018.

If you didn't already know about the unofficial depth chart:

"Wahlers production" refers to Jason Wahlers, VP of Communications listed on the administrative staff. In case anyone wanted to know just how far from "official" it gets.

Good interview from Rich Eisen featuring Christian Watson.

Something Rich brought up that I hadn't really thought about begins at about the 11:20 mark of the video.

Did the Packers break the Dallas Cowboys? In case you didn't know, there's apparently some talk that Jerry Jones' balking at giving extensions to McCarthy, Lamb, Dak, et al , is tied to the eye popping defeat the Packers handed the Cowboys in the playoffs. Jerry is no longer willing to commit to these guys nor has the confidence they have what it takes to compete for a championship. Or so it's been rumored and discussed.

Watson didn't take the bait when asked about it but it's interesting Eisen brought it up.

I wouldnt pay Dak either. Hes a fine QB. Hes no different than Kirk Cousins. He will statistically do very well throughout the regular seaosn but he isnt the elite QB talent that will ever contend with the better teams for a title, but because the nature of the position youll have to pay him like it.

Mahomes, Allen, Herbert, Burrow, Love, and Lamar are all clearly better IMO. The possibility that Stroud, Rodgers, Stafford, Purdy and Hurts could be better or on par with Dak doesnt help and they would all be paid less.

To me, I would think Dak isnt the answer so if something isnt the answer why pay top dollar for it? You might as well move on to a different option. It might not be the better option but if you are going to fail, fail fast. Dont just hang around and wait on a championship to come from a guy who cant get it done.

It wouldn't be the first time...
Packers broke the Cowboys in 1966 and 1967
They did it again in 2010, causing Jerry to fire Wade Phillips after getting embarrassed 45-7 on national TV
Then there's the crushing playoff defeats in 2017 and now 2023

Jerry looks out at his field in January and sees his veteran, high- paid team getting annihilated by a bunch of upstart youngsters who are cheeeep. Being a cheap bastard, he surely wishes he had that himself. 8-)
IT. IS. TIME

It's a shame Dak's stuck on the Cowboys with Jerrah and his Boys. Same goes for CeeCee and Micah. Ware's and Witten's careers were wasted. :idn:

Hitting up the 49ers game with my long time season ticket holder buddy! Will have to hunt on Saturday and be ok with that. Would love to meet up!

The Boys do have enough weapons to win some playoff games with Dak (except when they play the Packers). But it still takes another level to win the NFCCG and Super Bowl. Somebody (maybe Pckfn23) posted info last year about how elite QBs have won something like 12 of the last 13 or 14 Super Bowls. Something like that. And elite QBs with good WRs is a better combo than a good QB with elite WRs, any day of the week.

disagree. Best thing Jerry Jones could do is to give GB a 4th round pick for Michael Pratt. Cut Dak and use the savings to upgrade the rest of the team. They might not make the playoffs this season but that improves their draft and they would be a much better team and a legit contender a year from now going into Pratt's second season. The difference between Dak and Pratt a year from now is insignificant compared to an improved Oline that improves the running game and gives the QB more time to find a 2nd receiver. Dak is just plain not very good. And neither are many of the other starting QB's in the league.

Jerrah doesn't seem smart enough to figure it out anymore. He's been a nonfactor since 1996.
