Green Bay and Baltimore will hold a joint pracice on Thursday before the preseason finale on Saturday.
It is only the third preseason meeting between the two teams and the first in Green Bay.
The two teams last met in the preseason in 2019 in Baltimore.
The first preseason game between the two took place in Baltimore in 1996.
The matchup with the Ravens is designated as the Packers Give Back Game and will recognize Wisconsin Literacy as the nonprofit honoree. Hundreds of Wisconsin Literacy guests will receive a free bus ride to the game, a food and beverage gift card, and tickets to a designated area in the south end zone. Prior to kickoff, several Wisconsin Literacy members will take the field to be recognized. Wisconsin Literacy is a coalition of literacy agencies dedicated to changing lives and strengthening communities through knowledge and advocacy. Founded in 1985, the organization supports over 80 member agencies, serving more than 11,000 adult learners and their families statewide. I gave away my tickets to tomorrow's exhibition game. Resting up for the home opener versus the Colts. Between the Crew and the Pack there's plenty of excitement these days.
I'll be at a late summer BBQ so won't be able to watch. Outside of some backup positions, there's not a lot still left to be decided from a roster standpoint.
I want to see one last effort from Melton, DuBose, and Toure to see who gets that final WR roster slot. DuBose has been shining on ST as well as on offense so I think he's leading the effort at this point.
I want Joseph kicking every FG attempt and Carlson kicking every XP. The two areas each has struggled.
O-line, particularly each backup tackle position, is undecided. Would really like one of them to just hold their own and show they can be trusted in a pinch.
Interesting that barely got over the crossbar. Maybe took a little off of it, which a lot of the best kickers say you have to do. Not pretty, but counts as 3. That's the goal.
