Man, for a defense with so many big names, the Cowboys sure do allow a lot of yards. They even make Daniel Jones look good.
I loved that face mask call.

No Tim Boyle Laser Show with Dolphins, as they'll start Tyler Huntley at QB.
Jayden Daniels is good.
Really good.
Really good.
Buffalo clearly having the same day the Packers had. Too many mistakes against a good Baltimore team.
That's a lot of rushing

Watching the end of this TN-MIA game.
TN awarded safety after MIA QB penalized for intentional grounding in EZ. Ensuing kickoff, MIA declares onside kick attempt although following safety there isn’t a kickoff, it is a punt. Punter skies it, TN players treat it as a punt and ball travels about 25 yds. TN players all avoid touching the ball not understanding it’s a kickoff and a live ball. MIA player recovers. However, flag is thrown by officials because punt traveled beyond the “setup zone” for an onside kick and ball is awarded back to TN and they get an add’l 10 yds tacked on from point of punt.
Weirdest play outcome ever.
I have no idea how the NFL screwed up kickoffs this badly but they did.

They never thought about what happens after a safety. Typical NFL.APB wrote: ↑30 Sep 2024 21:46Watching the end of this TN-MIA game.

Refs screwed Seattle out if a 2 pt conversion. Replay didn't even look at it.
Detroit’s Terrion Arnold reminds me so much of Ahmad Carroll.
Nothing but hands on the receiver.
Nothing but hands on the receiver.
I couldn't bring myself to watch DET vs SEA, but did Seattle forget to bring their secondary on the flight!?!?

And now in the DET-SEA game, another safety, and the kicking team kicked off to the receiving like a normal old style kickoff.APB wrote: ↑30 Sep 2024 21:46Watching the end of this TN-MIA game.

I am so confused by these new kickoff rules.
Wait…Jared Goff just went 18/18 on pass attempts, not a single incompletion, 292 yds and two TDs, and did Buck just say he doesn’t have a perfect QB rating for the game?
How is that possible?
How is that possible?
Due to the silly formula that includes TDs per attempt, with 18 throws, Goff needed another TD pass for perfect passer rating. Or to have thrown two less passes with no incompletions and 2 TDs.
Oh yeah. It's bad when it comes to the upper limit.APB wrote: ↑30 Sep 2024 22:50All that tells me is the formula is seriously flawed.
Funnily at certain point yards per attempt stop mattering and difference comes from TDs per attempt. Goff coulda gone 18/18, 2 TDs for 1000 yards and not have gotten "perfect passer rating".
16/16 for >=225 and >=2 TDs woulda been the max 158.3, as would have 18/18 for >=225 yds and >=3 TDs.
It's only flawed if that happens to Jorden Love, other wise, it's PERFECTAPB wrote: ↑30 Sep 2024 22:50All that tells me is the formula is seriously flawed.
what a game, Detroit will give us all we want, the North is becoming a premier division.
While Lafleur has someone record great play of individual players for locker room atti boys and recognition, Campbell seems to just attempt it from memory, and over looked the record breaking Goff
Lions head coach Dan Campbell said he felt “awful” after already giving the game ball to Williams before being told of Goff’s historic evening.
“I knew he played a heck of a game. I did not realize he was perfect. I did not know he was literally 18-for-18,” Campbell told reporters. “But I knew he played really well; you could feel it.

You might find this video interesting. It shows the flaws and also looks at what the numbers would be if the arbitrary limits are removed.APB wrote: ↑30 Sep 2024 22:50All that tells me is the formula is seriously flawed.
