Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
I did notice he failed to snap a ball when the Vikings jumped. Should have had a free play. That's the next level center stuff that Corey Linsley was so good at.

If I remember right, and this could definitely be wrong. Im a bit sleep deprived right now but I thought Rodgers had a code word and if heard Linsley had to snap it.

I said last year that Wicks reminded me so much of Davante Adams with his release from the LOS and ability to create separation. Now if only he could catch a ball like Davante Adams...
Side note: I do think the drops will subside and Wicks eventually becomes "the guy" of the WR Corps.
Wicks so far is eerily similar in path to Adams.
Optimism in rookie year
Droppsies in 2nd year
We will see what happens next

I just picked up Wicks in fantasy. I have won the league 2 out of the last 3 years. He is about to take off.

I mean Wicks had the drops in his last year of college as well. Just might be one of those guys that’s on and off his his hands.

Before sunday he was available in 86% of yahoo leagues. Shot way up after Sunday to 58% rostered. Our wire pick ups go through on Wednesday. Dynasty league so people are afraid to drop people for different reasons. Glad I got him. Expect to keep him for years to come

Doubs is a decent WR and nothing more. He is not very big, quick, or fast and his hands are OK though they have improved quite a bit since he was a rookie. He is an excellent route runner.
In a week in which Watson is down (again), this is a really bad look for Romeo and frankly the team and MLF.
The Packers need someone to stand up and come down hard when this type of stuff keeps cropping up (like Campbell and Jaire last season).
There are a number of WR needy teams.
I would be fine trading Doubs for a defender who has not yet absorbed the "Packer" way of playing defense and letting Melton or Heath become WR 4.

I’m going to wait for more details to come out before I believe something like this. That said, if this is true, we do t need a guy like that on the team
I seriously wonder if it is a mental health issue. Gen Z is just like that.musclestang wrote: ↑04 Oct 2024 22:22I’m going to wait for more details to come out before I believe something like this. That said, if this is true, we do t need a guy like that on the team
Bro is upset the young boys have come in and overtaken him, I never saw any pop from doubs. Sure, he’s a fine player,
But all of a sudden a deep young crop of WRs can become not so deep fast.
Watson always hurt, doubbs wanting out…and then we are left with a good slot guy (Reed) and a guy who can get open but has bad hands…and the bo Melton’s of the world who are just like the JMon Moores of the world…scrubs.
Something to monitor for sure.

I have been a Wicks guy but some of them drops are such team killers. I am not off of him yet. There is something else that can be a team killer? Oh yea, a FG kicker that can't make FGs.APB wrote: ↑03 Oct 2024 07:02I said last year that Wicks reminded me so much of Davante Adams with his release from the LOS and ability to create separation.
