One thing about doubs…he’s only had one other multi touchdown game and that was against the bears all the way in week one of last year. Todays performance was way beyond his ordinary in terms of production that brings points,

That said for me Il need to go Nixon. I thought he was needing to go to the bench, but he made nice plays on d and the punt returned helped us seal the game

Nixon in his limited snaps has shown he is our 2nd best boundary corner. Didn't see that coming.

the goal of this exercise is to win, why are you down playing one of our best WR's and the player you took in it? :thwap: this is doubs last year as a 2nd year receiver

https://packerswire.usatoday.com/2024/0 ... 23-season/

Doubs leads this Packers team in targets with 92, and up until Reed’s Sunday night performance in Minnesota, he also led the Packers’ offense in receptions and receiving yards. He’s also tied with Reed for the team lead with eight touchdowns, and that figure is good for the seventh-most at the receiver position in football.

In addition to being available every week, Doubs has provided Love with a safety net in key situations. In recent weeks, Doubs caught the go-ahead touchdown against the Los Angeles Chargers in the final minutes.

On a fourth-and-one in the second half against Kansas City with the Chiefs down just two, Love connected with Doubs for 33 yards, putting Green Bay at the 11 yard line and setting up a touchdown. Then versus Carolina, Doubs 36 yard pass on third down, which several plays later resulted in the go-ahead field goal.

On third and fourth downs this season, Doubs has caught 19-of-30 passes with 15 of those receptions going for a first down. He’s also had five touchdowns as well. Inside the opponent’s 10 yard line, Doubs has caught 6-of-9 passes with all 6 catches going for scores. Overall, in the red zone, Doubs has nine receptions, eight first downs, and seven touchdowns.

looks like he's back to doing that stuff again, plenty of players did well, but Doubs was the cream of the crop along with Love yesterday :aok:

my vote is Doubs

I’ll second that. He’s actually playing better on the outside. Threw me for a loop.

I'll vote Doubs with a number of honorable mentions. I thought the O-line did a heck of a job, particularly given all the in-game musical chairs.

Williams, both varieties, did well.

The Packers lunatic fringe is more visible because of sheer numbers. The Packers have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. If the fringe percentage is the same as with other teams, then we end up with larger volumes of nut jobs. - JustJeff
