You know it's a strange Packers victory when the three gentlemen who get the game ball:

1. Defensive Coordinator
2. Punter
3. Kicker

Upon review, Love's first pick was totally on him. Got tunnel vision and went blindly for his hot read, even tho there was no blitz. He expected Petri to run with Doubs, but he never even turned his hips and gambled on Love throwing that. He was within Love's vision, so no excuse there. Love had two other quick options: Doubs woulda been open for 1st down to the sideline, Kraft maybe for a tougher catch in the middle.

Good job by the DB watching Love and taking an educated guess.

Second was a good read, Watson is a big boi, just bad throw under pressure.

Win and learn, I guess.

It was reported that fan was ejected from the game after rejecting the leap attempt by Mixon.

Which is BS.

What the hell, @Bogey? ;)

He was back celebrating with McManus in his leap at the end.

It was borderline, IMO. Mixon didn't jump right at him. He leaned over to shove him down. I think that is OK within reason, but I think the cameras caught him flipping Mixon the bird afterwards. I was wondering if that was the actual issue.

😀 He was un-ejected thanks to cooler heads prevailing. 😀
The Packers lunatic fringe is more visible because of sheer numbers. The Packers have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. If the fringe percentage is the same as with other teams, then we end up with larger volumes of nut jobs. - JustJeff

I have been to every Green Package Packer game at Lambeau for over 30 years. That first drive was one of the loudest I have ever heard Lambeau.

After that it died down substantially, but man it was loud.

Great game to be at.

I am noticing more fire from the fans as well.

I think as our defense continues to perform, the fans will be more excited to get even louder because we are no longer being let down. It's nice to see us actually get off the field on 3rd down for a change.

We may have rushed 4 on most snaps, but we sure kept switching which four. We had everyone at the line and Houston had a hard time guessing. On X's free rush, no defender even blinked his way.

The 5+ pressure senders surprises me. Means we were incredibly effective when we sent 5 or more because there are at least 3 highlight plays made from a pressure/sack from either a linebacker or safety.

offensive fan fair fire= a wooden match, defensive fan fair fire= flame thrower :rotf:

agree the better the defense, the bigger the constant fire, (loud), with offense, ya only get that after a big play or a score.

I lost over half of the first quarter to sun spots affecting Satellite reception, or thats what CBS reported, never ever had that happen before.

was wondering if anyone else experienced this???????

Our 5+ blitzes were effective, but there were plenty of times we sent a safety or linebacker as the 4th guy on a 4-man rush.

For example, X's sack and Wilson's first sack don't count as blitzes, since we only rushed 4 (on both plays, Preston dropped to short zone). Saw a snap where Bullard was the 4th rusher.

Interesting rule quirk I didn't know: Fairbairn's kick that went out of bounds was intentional.

By rule, in the ball is placed 25 yards from the spot of the kick. They kicked from the 50 due to a Packer's personal foul, so we had to start the drive from the 25. Had they kicked into the EZ, GB would've started at the 30.
