From Lambeau to Lombardi, Holmgren, McCarthy and LaFleur and from Starr to Favre, Rodgers and now Jordan Love we’re talking Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers football. This Packers Forum is the place to talk NFL football and everything Packers. So, pull up a keyboard, make yourself at home and let’s talk some Packers football.
No the Texans last week was the classic trap game. We are good to go right Ringo?
Everything is subject to interpretation. I had no idea how bad the Packers offensive line was going to be last Sunday allowing the Texans to take it to the limit and make it look trappy, rhymed with crappy. Mixon was awesome, but the Texans QB was terrible.

Nope

So the moral of the story is just always be mad and negative about every outcome no matter what.

This will all change with decisive wins over DET, MINN, CHI and SF.

Away game vs an AFC team with no mutual history or rivalry to speak of, with a losing record, a week before a final push vs a division rival before the bye....
Needless to say, but I'll say it anyways:
This is a much better definition of a trap game!
Yeah much better definition, and if we were leading the division by a wide margin I could buy it. But we haven't drunk our own Kool-aid yet, 3rd place in the division, and still working things out. I think this will be a stomp fest by the Pack.
Yes it will. Expecting a 10 point minimum non-trap point spread crushing Packers dominant outcome. With or without #2 at QB.

So you will be irrationally mad and negative until January 6th??

Ah, the heart of it! Someone is still grumpy about Jordan Love.

We have a tough time in Florida, and the Jags looked like they bounced back a bit in their last game. That said, we had a stretch of hot weather games earlier so we should have a sense of how to deal with the heat, and this is arguably the worst defense in the league.
I can see a trap game but I doubt it will be one. Thrash these fools and then strap up for Detroit.
The only reason why the Jags looked good is NE is even worse. As long as we don't screw up with penalties and turnovers we should win this one.
Unless I'm reading all sorts of sources wrong, isn't it 12 noon Central Time?
Yes, it is.
Depending on where you are, the end of daylight saving time may result in the game starting at an unusual hour local time. For example, here in Finland it starts at 7PM instead of the usual 8PM.

I was thinking of that, DSR is in your neck of the woods, was wondering if he had DST, which would make it CST instead of EST, I still get confused and I've dealt with it tons traveling to WI so often over the years, mental degradation
I figure it will go... Walker, Jenkins, Rhyan, Morgan, Tom. Rhyan did a nice job at C in preseason, and Morgan is probably your next best OL so you get him on the field, whereas moving Tom to C probably means you play Telfort at RT, who while not awful I can't make a case for being one of your best five.

Last time Myers went down, they moved Jenkins to C. So it would be Walker, Rhyan/Morgan, Jenkins, Rhyan/Morgan, Tom. Dunno which side Rhyan and Morgan would take.
Rhyan would be a possibility at C, especially if he has time to prep for it.
Tom ain't moving from his spot, a more valuable spot, where he's excelling and we have question marks as backups.
