Six-Pack Pick'em Challenge: Week 8

Wow!

For a week of picks that was touted to be difficult, the collective forum sure nailed it! We had five...FIVE!...members nail five of six picks correctly with @Cdragon, @Papa John, @mnkcarp, and @Backthepack4ever also nailing their upset picks to share in this week's top honors. That performance created an even bigger logjam at the top of the overall standings but, alas, yours truly remains atop the leaderboard with four upset picks as the tiebreaker. Take that!

With all regularly participating members within four picks of the overall lead, it's still anybody's game. One good week of picks could catapult anyone into the top position. Of note, we still haven't seen a prognosticator pick a perfect week yet...is this the week?
The rules are simple:
  • Choose an outright winner from the four select games of the week
  • Choose an outright winner from the Packers matchup
  • Choose an outright upset winner from any weekly matchup
The upset pick can be from the previous five games already in play or any of the other weekly NFL matchups on the schedule, so long as your chosen underdog victor was listed as a kickoff dawg. For reference, a listing of Vegas odds can be found here.

I will maintain a cumulative tally of correct choices with the winner declared at the end of the regular season. You'll get a mulligan for two weeks, be it forgotten picks or a bad week, but the rest are on you. The winner will be declared at season's end for the participant with the most correct picks. In the event of a tie, the participant with the most correct upset picks will be declared the winner.

Need motivation? The winner will receive a special gift from the Packers Pro-Shop from the Mod Team. See? Us Mods aren't all bad...

Those of you selecting the Commanders as your upset pick, proceed with caution! I suspect if Jayden Daniels is active, they'll quickly move to favored status. Those upset picks will be nullified if that should occur.
