Packers Team Toughness
Listening to the radio this morning driving home Green Bay there was a discussion stating that LaCoach's prissy team is primarily a finesse team compared to the Lions and Eagles. And that when the playoffs roll around the Packers will be challenged to compete against the "tough" Lions and Eagles defenses.
Can you believe it?

Here’s the solution….
Buy yourself a DeLorean and install a flux capacitor. Set the date for anytime in the mid 1960’s. Take it out on 41 and get it up to 88mph. Problem solved!
BTW I walked across your lawn today.

Such a stupid topic. What makes the lions and eagles tough? What do they do that green Bay can't?
Maybe 10 years ago I would say this team was soft on d but not anymore. I would say they lack focus at times. Yesterday they gang tackled and took it to the 9ers. A team many worshiped over the last few years. I don't care they were missing some player GB kicked their tails in the trenches. The DBS flew across the field to make plays. Quay Walker had his best game as a pro and was meeting guys in the hole
This offense can run on anyone in the league. Anyone. The wrs block their asses off. If that ain't tough idk what is

Weird topic in a week when we won with 43 tough rushes and our RB broke 15 tackles.
And we held a supposedly tough running team to 44 yards on the ground and took the ball away. That's about as anti-finesse as one can get.

Welcome to the forum Witchita! But when you walk across the lawn look for a gate instead of banging your head against the brick wall!

The guys on the radio were dead serious. They were adament that our finesse with be overtaken by toughness come playoff time. I don't necessarily agree either so don't shoot the messenger.

Who are these guys?
Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
So let me get this straight…you’re promoting a debate against nameless radio announcers on a nameless broadcast and nameless station who allege the Packers aren’t tough enough after a physically dominating win against a traditionally physically dominating team.
Forgive me for thinking a little Ringo may have bled into whatever conversation you thought you heard.

Ya, these radio people be idiots. There were seasons with AR when you could call this a finesse team (pass first, light OL built for only pass pro...), but this is not such a season. We may get beaten by quality D in the playoffs, because good D is good D. But I don't think lack of toughness will be an issue.RingoCStarrQB wrote: ↑25 Nov 2024 20:28The guys on the radio were dead serious. It was an FM radio station. The discussion was between 0930 and 1130 am today. I didn't catch which station.APB wrote: ↑25 Nov 2024 20:50So let me get this straight…you’re promoting a debate against nameless radio announcers on a nameless broadcast and nameless station who allege the Packers aren’t tough enough after a physically dominating win against a traditionally physically dominating team.
