our best defense is a healthy dose of Jacobs, and keeping the defense resting on the sidelines as much as possible, we're getting beat up at ILB, and our corners are not to be trustedlupedafiasco wrote: ↑27 Nov 2024 06:57This will probably be our toughest test all season next to the Lions. The Dolphins offense is just so fast an explosive. As for Tua getting all the short and easy plays I would expect the same in this one. You just can let Waddle and Hill beat you deep and with our CB situation I’m betting Hafley will give our outside guys so much help that the underneaths tuff it open. Tua loves to get the ball out quick so I would like to see a lot of disguise coverages but outside of that it’s going to be on our offense to keep up and not make mistakes.

I have been very vocal over the years in my criticism of Tua. I am not impressed with his game. Weak arm, fragile, undersized. He sucks. That said, the Dolphins are a team with legitimate weaponry. Beating them will not be an easy task. Is it unreasonable of me to expect a W here against Miami? Tell me again how entitled I am as a fan. Remember, when we lost to SF last year in the playoffs I was told to check my criticism because this is a young team that is only going to improve. How long are we going to be a young team? Well guess what? I have expectations of this team right now. And if you're going to try to make me apologize for that, you can kiss my ass.

Any chance at all Cooper plays this week? That would be a big asset to have back against the Fins.APB wrote: ↑26 Nov 2024 12:08If you're anticipating a pass rush resurgence this week, might want to temper your expectations.
That said, Tua loves his RB pass plays. It's why his completion percentage is so high. Challenge those easy throw options, make Tua hesitant, and those pass rushers may just get home.
That said, this is one of those games where it is clear the betting lines are not based on point expectations, but rather to get people to bet evenly on both sides of the coin. Pack should be favored by way more than 3.5, more like 6 or 7. They are the better team. It is at home. In the cold. Tua sucks in the cold.

Maybe I'm crazy but I really trust our safeties. Press these guys, force Tua to hold the ball longer and push it down field. Give X chances on the ball. I'm more worried about the short stuff and over the middle to Smith then hr balls.
Like last week run the ball and be efficient on offense score in the red zone hell score every drive.... Long time-consuming drives
Cold weather big boy football Green Bay beats up this Miami team
38-24

Gute likes a young team, on rookie contracts, so he can afford to buy McKinny and a Jacobs mostly it's the curse of a D&D program, unless you hit on all the draft picks it's rinse and repeat with hatchlings each year, jmoPapa John wrote: ↑27 Nov 2024 14:23I have been very vocal over the years in my criticism of Tua. we all have expectations, we all feel it's high time for another Lombardi, all feel we should have gotten another this last decade, &%$@ happens though and we all feel cheated, your not alone in that mindset, and no one expects an apology either
as to the entitled part, Packer fans act just as entitled as NE fans, the other winningest team the last 3 decades, we just lack the titles to shout it as loud.
to me the trophies are bragging points, yes I want more, but I wouldn't give up winning this division almost every season over the last 30 years for more, then slumping for a decade between another, my pay off, if ya want to call it that is winning most games every season.
Happy Thanksgiving day to all, and a joyful win tonight
This don't trust the Packers because Love turns the ball over too much TV narrative is very tiring.
We are the better team at home in the cold.
Go out there and take it.

Just pound it with Jacobs and Wilson and don't give up the ball on a turnover.

Saw their two busses coming up from Appleton a little over an hour ago. Probably got to Lambeau around 4:05 pm. Wonder how many coats they were all wearing?

Seriously, if -1 or better in turnover ratio the Pack should win without too much issue.
Happy thanksgiving, all of y'all!

Watching Jordan mature the past season and a half has been great. He'll keep getting better with his decisions which will lead to more consistent play. Tonight let's see if he can play like he did last Sunday vs. San Francisco. I'm still rooting hard for Jordan to have a successful Packers career. His interview skill is tremendous.
