Apparently Jacobs gifted Brooks his first NFL TD, refusing to be subbed in at the goal line.

If you are not @lupedafiasco : Awww, that's the Christmas spirit! :stanta: Locker room showing heart.
If you are @lupedafiasco and had Jacobs in fantasy: :swear: :mob:

Against the Jaguars in Week 8, Brooks went down on purpose to avoid scoring a touchdown (Jacobs left the game with an injury) to set up kicker Brandon McManus’ eventual walk-off field goal. Two months later, he finally scored his first career touchdown from 1-yard out to put the Packers up 20-0 in the second quarter.

Jacobs said coaches wanted him to go in the game on that play.

“And I’m like, ‘Nah, let him get it,'” Jacobs said. “He deserve it and hopefully he get another one.

“First off, man, nobody is in this building more than him, so let me start there … we had a Christmas party and after the Christmas party, he was in here getting his body right. He’s very intentional with what he wants to accomplish. He does never say no to whatever coaches have him do, whether it’s special teams or anything.”

Now THAT is awesome team culture.
The Packers lunatic fringe is more visible because of sheer numbers. The Packers have one of the largest fan bases in all of sports. If the fringe percentage is the same as with other teams, then we end up with larger volumes of nut jobs. - JustJeff

I, too, lost my fantasy semi-final by one pt, coming up just short in my comeback attempt with both Jacobs and Love playing for me. The dominant on-field play and their subsequent 2nd half benching ruined my chances at fantasy glory.
