Has Musgrave played at all? Would be nice to get into a 1-2 offense sometimes. Sims is out.

I replayed the INT and now I see Kraft stumble off of the LOS. I do however think that Love needs to see that Kraft will not be on the spot.Scott4Pack wrote: ↑12 Jan 2025 17:01In Love's defense, if Kraft doesn't slip on his route, then Baun doesn't have the freedom to drop to the middle of the field. Love almost can't anticipate that. Key here was that Kraft took himself out of the pattern by the slip.
The D is showing some Packer Pride.

No one is trading away OL in season. When’s the last time you saw an OL traded in season.

This game reminds me of the 2022 playoff game against the 49ers. Great D, no offense, and special teams mistakes

I know a guy that knows the offense that is better than a 6th round pick that has played 13 nfl snaps. Any other excuses?go pak go wrote: ↑12 Jan 2025 17:04Oline is scarce in March - May. It's non existent in the season.

I Do Not Hate Matt Lafleur
I offer a reasonable solution, well more reasonable than a guy whose played 13 nfl snapslupedafiasco wrote: ↑12 Jan 2025 17:10No one is trading away OL in season. When’s the last time you saw an OL traded in season.

Our defense has looked really good. Only down by 10 is not bad considering how poorly the offense has played. Time for MLF to try something different. Love needs to be willing to run more.

This game plan is &%$@. They’re running everything into the strengths of the Eagles. Stop going with inside zones in to Carter and Davis. I mean for $%@# sake it’s like against the Buccs all over again in reverse. They wanted to get horizontal against their athleticism ILBs and here we want to go right into them. How about we run at little ass Nolan Smith?

Loss Reason #3 so fartexas wrote: ↑11 Jan 2025 14:21I wanted another shot at Philly ever since week 1. I am somewhat optimistic although I think it's reasonable for them to be favored. I think our ceiling is higher than theirs, but we have yet to hit our ceiling against a good opponent. That being said, assuming we didn't earn the bye, this is probably the most favorable playoff bracket for us, because the 2 teams I think that match up well against us are Minnesota and Tampa Bay, and I would actually prefer to play Philly, Detroit, or the Rams. I think most teams can't beat the ViQueens, but I think the Rams are one of the few who can. So hopefully they can knock them out for us.
Reasons we win:
1) We're more talented than them. We are younger and hungrier
2) Lafleur is the best HC and his offensive system is unstoppable
3) Hurts isn't that good, and we can trick him into turning it over
Reasons we lose:
1) Our defense still isn't good, sorry. The Hafley scheme is only good against bad QBs.
2) Our pass rush is nonexistent
3) Love is prone to having bad games here and there (the SF loss last year was 100% due to Love sucking at the worst time)
4) Our offense is much worse without Christian Watson. Look it up.
Overall I think our chances are 40% but I'll take that, because it really isn't about luck- it's in our hands and when we play to our ability, I don't think there is another team out there with a higher ceiling. We've been plagued all year by sloppiness and referee screwjobs. Had we had McManus from the start, we would have had what like 2-3 losses only? We've been competitive in every game. So I think there is reason for optimism.

Look at two INTs today.
1. Wicks doesn't "stack" the CB (Slay). Pckfn23 pointed that out earlier. If he does, then Slay doesn't have a play on that ball. It's a mistake that young WRs make. But it happened. Wasn't Love's fault.
2. Kraft slips, allowing Baun to drop into the path of the pass for the WR. If Kraft stays on his route, then Baun has no play on the ball. Wasn't Love's fault. Just a tough play that was very hard to anticipate.

Let me tell you, I hope LaFleur is in that locker room rallying the boys. If there ever was a time a team needed an Any Given Sunday Al Pacino halftime speech, it is us right now. A win is still achievable. They let us stick around. How many times have we made that mistake with other teams and paid the price? Too many times. Now it's our turn. Go $%@# MAKE THEM PAY.

Agree with those talking about MLF needing to get this offense going somehow. At this point whatever it takes.
Still think our best potential matchup could be with Musgrave and Kraft on the field at the same time and continuing to try to run with the game still close. I don't know otherwise. Love needs to bring a higher level too of course.
