This would be a big hire, IMO.

How often is Rashan Gary doubled, chipped, chopped, and/or otherwise the focus of opponent blocking strategy as compared to Crosby?

Absolutely. DL is one area that needs improvement and/or an infusion of talent.

BOOOOOOO!! Getsy is a fraud. And besides that we should be getting guys with different ideas than retreads from our own org.

I think it possible he's grown as a coach over the years and also picked up a thing or two since departing after the 2021 season. I hardly think of him as a retread from within, at least not in the same sense as, say, Schottenheimer taking over in Dallas. Getsy is a guy the staff is familiar with and also a guy who is familiar with the Packers.

I am curious what staff position he assumes. I'm not thrilled with him as OC but would get behind something like passing game coordinator or something similar. Even Asst HC whose sole gameday function is to manage gameflow info and keep MLF apprised of strategic developments.

The Packers are at risk of finishing 4th in the 2025 NFC North standings.

Getsy is an awesome coach, love bringing him back.

I'd be happy if he's working with QB's or WR's, and/or is pass game coordinator.

He was WR coach when Davante broke into being a star, was QB coach and pass game coordinator during Aaron's last two MVP years.

You mean the same risk as every other previous year?

I see you’re starting your hand wringing a little early this year…

Sure there is a chance for every team to finish 1-4 in the division standings.

I think what Ringo is saying is that last year we just assumed we would finish top 2 because we thought the Vikings with Sam Darnold had no shot and we knew the Lions would be good/Bears be bad. We know squarely where we fall in the division this year and that’s on the bottom half, not the top.

This year I think it’s pretty clear where we fell in the division. We were the 3rd best team and we weren’t close to 1st or 2nd when it came to the games played on the field.

Now the Bears just got the top coaching candidate available which could mean nothing but it’s definitely a step in the right direction for them.

The North is the most competitive division in the league but they won’t have the luxury of playing the NFC and AFC South’s next year. More than likely that 3rd place team isn’t getting in next season.

Gutenbumst is right. It’s time to turn up the urgency. But it was that time when we were pushing for a championship at the end of Rodgers career and it was that time last year and he goes and takes backup players with his first round pick that got absolutely no value during the season.
Cancelled by the forum elites.

Ya, the Packers have no possible shot at improvement. They are definitely a declining, cellar of the division team. Just throw in the towel now.

A little depends on MN QB situation. But as of now I would predict Lions first and Bears 2nd in division.

Only if it is a wet towel.
