It would cost our 1st and 2nd to move all the way to 13. Not worth it in my opinion. This team still needs a WR, DE, and DT and needs serious depth at CB and LB. A move like that severely limits the ability to fill the needs on this team. You arent going to close the massive talent gap between us and the Eagles by just getting one really good player.

Man, there is a ton of guys in this class who I read up on and it's like the perfect prospect. Then I get to the end and read this person suffered a torn ACL in September. There must be 10 fringe 1st-round guys who have big time medical flags.

Peter Buttkowski talked about it on his podcast today but I think I’m also coming to draw the conclusion that Landon Jackson might be the pick for us. I think without a doubt our 1st pick is going to be something on the front 4. I think Graham, Grant, and Harmon are all gone with the recent success of the Eagles and Chiefs with stud DTs (that should both be on this team btw).
Landon Jackson is the type of edge Gutenbumst loves and he’s just the type of player that low enough on consensus that he would reach for at 23.

pre draft hype is the same as LVN and Gary, will cause havoc, is a disruptive, but lack of actual productive results is the same, Guty needs to go after guys that actually produce, so far his types have not, these big lanky, heavy DE's with tight hips have one thing in common, they dominated weaker OT and college OLines, they get to this level and big tackles stand them up at the LOS and minus there needed ability to counter with a rip or hand over they get no where, I'd rather not a repeat of LVN or Gary, plus we need a DT more. jmolupedafiasco wrote: ↑01 Apr 2025 19:34Peter Buttkowski talked about it on his podcast today but I think I’m also coming to draw the conclusion that Landon Jackson might be the pick for us. I'd take Kyle Kenard in the 3rd round, more value
Guys, relax. There will be plenty of solid options at every need position for us not to have to reach. Only 22 picks can be made ahead of us.
Yeah, other teams may also be interested in the guys we like, but they also have other needs and are likely falling in love with guys who don't make sense for us: QBs, RBs, TEs, etc. It all evens out.
Whether we actually take the most sensible player is another thing; we tend to outsmart ourselves in R1. But I assure you, quality guys who fill needs for us will be there.

when you say relax, it doesn't sound as convincing as when Rodgers did itLabrev wrote: ↑02 Apr 2025 11:13Guys, relax. There will be plenty of solid options at every need position for us not to have to reach. Only 22 picks can be made ahead of us.

it would be abnormal, and completely out of character for Huddlers to relax, especially leading up to historical events such as draft in Title Town, the home of the famous and 2nd oldest team in the sport Green Bay Packers, excited is what we all need to be.

but agree our first round picks have just not lived up to the production we get from round 2 and 3, hopefully Guty does better this year
