Was hoping to have him today to get a week of consistency going into the 49ers game. This almost makes it seem unlikely that he will play in that game, either, now. Just basing on how the Packers usually treat injuries, short weeks, and Byes/Mini-Byes.

Personally, I think the opposite. He was a limited participant all week. On the fence for this week, but knowing we don't necessarily need him against a poor Vikings' pass rush. Don't play this week to make sure he can play next week.

No I think they’re giving him the extra few days to get even better. If the rumor of broken ribs is true you want him going into the game fresh and not hurting from a game 4 days ago.

40 yard line in is 4 down territory with Crosby like that. Should be going for 2 on the extra point as well.
