I wanted Rodgers in the draft when he was falling even though I was a Craig Nall truther.
Although I was all for trading Rodgers for Randy Moss and some change.
Given Moss’s 2007 year he had and knowing Aaron would have flopped in Oakland, because, well Raiders, would have been viewed as a solid trade and we would have gotten rings in 2007.

BF004 maybe edit the thread title, maybe add (Old forums talk & links). It looks a bit weird when there's an actual RIP thread going on...
And while you're at it, fix this place. I keep randomly getting logged out. It's annoying.
RIP JustJeff

Come on IT guy, that's on you!
Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
That was a problem with users who signed on before the newest version of the security certificate and cookies that come with it was installed. Log out, delete all cookies of the site (click on the lock next to the URL), then re-load the page with SHIFT+F5 and log back in. Should work.
I had this problem too. You also need to access the website by this URL. I used to use a different URL which did not save my Log In.

Heck yeah, I've actually had the link favorited for years.salmar80 wrote: ↑22 Jan 2021 00:06For an archeological expedition, back to the Primetedthompsoneoic Era from spring 2008 to the summer of 2013, seems like the PHPBB2 version of PN.net is also still readable: http://www.packersnews.net/phpBB2/index.php
You can go look back at the Favre trade, Championship celebrations etc. I was posting elsewhere back then, but still a fascinating time capsule.
Does anyone know of a forum that goes back even further? Would be fun to go all the way back to the AR pick.
Before that forum, it was Julie's World, so no, nothing else exists.
RIP JustJeff
Yep, Louder founded the site linked in Sal's OP as well as PackersPlanet once Julie's World spiraled into chaos. That was 2008, I believe.TheGreenMan wrote: ↑22 Jan 2021 10:31Heck yeah, I've actually had the link favorited for years.salmar80 wrote: ↑22 Jan 2021 00:06For an archeological expedition, back to the Primetedthompsoneoic Era from spring 2008 to the summer of 2013, seems like the PHPBB2 version of PN.net is also still readable: http://www.packersnews.net/phpBB2/index.php

The Planet, many of you may recall, was a largely un-moderated version of this site that Pete established for those that really, REALLY wanted to express how they felt about the Packers without any form of censorship. Yeah, didn't go over too well. At least long term.
I spent much of 2008 at the Planet and didn't make my way over here until the following year. Once here, though, it's evolved into my go-to site for Packer talk. It's kinda fun seeing some of the familiar names from back then and watching people grow as people and Packer posters. That's you texas, you smart-alec young whippersnapper, and you lupedafiasco, you tennis shoe hugging knucklehead...
I loved packersplanet. Really the only thing I didn't like was the uncensored porn that would be posted in The Urinal lmao .Mostly by I think his username was SnevetsAPB wrote: ↑22 Jan 2021 13:38Yep, Louder founded the site linked in Sal's OP as well as PackersPlanet once Julie's World spiraled into chaos.
