I'm going to propose a draft date beginning Monday, July 5th, 2021.
I'm going to wait on the rest of the schedule until the NFL releases its schedule next week to make sure the start times and cutdown days make sense. But I wanted to get the draft on everyone's radar at least.
Below I have the past two years' schedules for reference.

August 28 (Friday before Labor Day weekend) - cutdown day. All rosters must be at 29 active + 3 IR by noon.
Rosters are locked throughout the offseason. Roster Maximum set at 36 players, 0 IR (29 + 3 IR + 4 eventual draft picks is a fair cutoff). Trades are, of course, still permitted.

September 2 (Labor Day) - cutdown day. All rosters must be at 29 active + 3 IR by noon.
(NFL final roster cuts are Saturday August 31, so I wanted to push back our cuts until after that, but still have enough time for waivers prior to week 1)
Might I suggest Tuesday, July 6th, instead? The day after the 4th sounds kind of brutal. Gives everyone 1 full recovery day.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑07 May 2021 09:32I'm going to propose a draft date beginning Monday, July 5th, 2021.

I was looking at the past dates thinking "I sometimes pick the first Monday, sometimes the second Monday; I wonder why"
Totally forgot about the holiday.
Sooner the better for me, so whatever you boys decide I will roll with!

Well as league champion I vote that works just fine with me. Even though I don't have any picks...yet.
