What Are You Watching?

Cheesy topics (like the Cheese Curds thread) go here. Topics that aren't Packer related will be moved here as well.

Mmmm.... cheese.

Far too many shows end with stuff hanging. Gets frustrating to start a series and have that happen. Several out there that my wife and I have wanted to start and haven't because we found out they ended prematurely. What's the point of starting it if you know you won't be satisfied in the end?
My wife and I are essentially the same way. We rarely begin a series unless it has at least 2 seasons under it's belt and strong indications it will continue. We'd much rather have the freedom to on-demand stream multiple episodes, too, simply because our viewing time is so erratic.

Another boring season of Big Brother. Production put them in 4 teams of 4. Did that for the first time in season 11 and a few times since, makes it much more boring because alliances don't form naturally. And this year it is like 11 people that all are in one big alliance vs the others that are easy targets and not good players. It seems in recent seasons this is the pattern. Then there is an all-black 5 person alliance that is clearly racist and keeps talking about "my people."

Finished watching the 2 seasons of The Alienist. Now back to The Witcher.

Then maybe some PBS to counteract wally's big brother.

Foundation is a must watch if you have appletv or a way of streaming (if you need one PM me). Only 2 episodes so far but this was the best effects I have seen in a TV series. Really incredible scenes. I would suggest not watching the trailer but if you dont want to take my word for it on how great this show is give it a shot and see if it interests you.

Seinfeld to Netflix today.

So probably a lot of that in the near future.

Even though I already had it on Hulu for years, just the way the world works.

Loved it!

Kind of a development of the amazing Japanese film Battle Royale (2000). But with adults, and with everything that comes with being an adult.

This is SO GOOD.

Go into it with some patience. The premise is absolutely wonderful. And it's a spectacle.

Let me try to sell it:

What if you were a person who actually could predict the future. Decipher it from the fine threads of information that flow trough the universe. Accurately and to the finest detail. Never been wrong.

And now, your latest prediction is: End of it all.

You guys are into some heavy stuff. I need more stupidity in my life.

Watched the first two episodes of The Wonder Years reboot. I liked it. It's got some potential.

It's suprisingly hard to find "good stupidity".

The Silicon Valley comedy series fits the bill.

Everything done by Monty Python, you might love that stuff. Like this:

The bridge scene I have watched over and over. 3rd episode was a little week but I am fascinated by the emperor history and way it works.
