Not COVID related!
Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."

*insert people who used to defend PFF now try and find reasons PFF is not credible.*
I don't think anyone has really ever trusted PFF for these type of stats. They are good with objective data but stuff like this which has so many variable factors is just wish washy.
Good for marketing though as it gets attention.

What? Where the $%@# was that said or even implied? QB was not even mentioned...

to me it says our WR's are open all the time, they must be better then people think, which is a big load of horse crap, like I said, NO one will be breaking down our door to sign any of them not named Adams, it also insinuates that Mahomes, Rodgers and Stafford are not throwing to these open receivers, as Bud said it's a deceiving stat, open in the eye of a PFF grader does not mean open when the QB reads his progressions.

Also MLF said that he doesn't anticipate Bak or Jaire going this weekend, and Bak was listed as a DNP today.

It's not about pitting one group against another group which always ends up being the stupid debate on this forum and instead see correlation that the "top 3 QB's" by production also have the "top 3 WR's groups getting open"
The top 3 - 5 QBs in production and MVP race are Rodgers, Brady, Mahommes, Stafford and Allen. We know that per PFF, the Rams, Packers and Chiefs also have their WRs get open more than any other team. AND GUESS WHAT!!!! THEY ARE PRODUCING!!! The offense is working!!!
Which means nobody is sucking or stinking. It means that there is competent QB and WR play because they are they are grouped as the best in the league!!!
That's exactly how I'm viewing these in-season positive tests. Get 'em out of the way now so we have limited personnel restictions come playoff time.YoHoChecko wrote: ↑21 Dec 2021 15:49Ok, we got them goodgood antibodies in our WR and QB rooms the next three months
We know Dillon has already had it. Showtime33, you need to bunk up with MVS this week. Oh, and come week 18 when the no. 1 seed is all locked up, I want those O-Lineman out in public mingling like a mo-fo.

Yoop, you are making what we call in my world a spurious correlation. You really shouldn't assume every issue brought up relating to passing the football is a criticism of Aaron Rodgers.Yoop wrote: ↑21 Dec 2021 15:23to me it says our WR's are open all the time, they must be better then people think, which is a big load of horse crap, like I said, NO one will be breaking down our door to sign any of them not named Adams, it also insinuates that Mahomes, Rodgers and Stafford are not throwing to these open receivers, as Bud said it's a deceiving stat, open in the eye of a PFF grader does not mean open when the QB reads his progressions.

That leads me to wonder how many passes that Aaron throws to Davante (or any other receiver, for that matter) when he feels the guy is covered and is just giving him a chance to make a play. I'm thinking of how he and Adams seem to have mastered the back-shoulder sideline throw/catch.
Jordy Nelson used to be great at that. But instead of jumping and reaching over shorter DBs like Adams does, Jordy would toe the sideline more often than not and make it nearly impossible for the DB to tip the pass away.
Come on down and try some of our delicious green chili! Best in the world!
