This was really why the Packers needed to draft a receiver last season. I was one if the people who was an advocate of not taking one in the first as there are only so many balls to go around on offense they really just needed to find someone to be a competent #2 or #3. Rookie receivers usually don’t contribute we’ll year 1 and take time to develop.
Right now we should be on the development year. It was very clear last season MVS wasn’t going to be good enough. Did we not foresee this after the concentration drops, poor route running, and lack of an ability to track the ball down the field?
I really didn’t care if they did a late round pick at WR but they needed to get somebody to develop for the future of this group.

Yes.
IT IS TIME
He did look good as the punt gunner, so he's got that going for him. Which is nice

Looks like we finally picked up a slot guy. Will be interesting to see how quickly Roberts gets into games and targetted.
RIP JustJeff
Sounds like Practice Squad, first, so I would guess not that quickly.

Crickets this week in Minnesota, another season sweep? Could be a coach firing game?
Yeah I kept quietly saying to my MN buddies that their team is really, really bad and that they honestly just couldn't take us in the North and the trade for Yannuck was really stupid.Carl Gerbschmidt wrote: ↑27 Oct 2020 19:09Crickets this week in Minnesota, another season sweep? It wasn't trash talk. I was just saying, "look. You are filled with rookies. You lost your vets and even with your best vets, you couldn't beat us at your home when we had multiple turnovers and Rodgers stunk. We are to MN what SF was to us."
By Week 2 they started to all see it and have been on the bandwagon of Trevor Lawrence ever since. I started rooting for MN for sure by Week 4 because I saw the writing on the wall. This could end up being a really, really good 4-12 team and I don't like good 4-12 teams. We don't want that.
Put their season away this Sunday and then I am rooting for MN every game from here on out.

I'm just hoping the Vikings win like their last 4 games in a row to go like 7-9 just to they double down on Kirk, Zimmer and Speilman.
Well Zimmer prolly the only thing worth while out of that bunch.

Thanks NCF, I was just doing some Lazard recovery calcs last night.
I'm guessing he's a no for this week - but getting him up to speed for next week would be a nice boost for the offense

Palmy - "Very few have the ability to truly excel regardless of system. For many the system is the difference between being just a guy or an NFL starter. Fact is, everyone is talented at this level."
I was really hoping we would see Lazard in practice this week.
It would be great if he were in a limited role next Thursday. We will see i guess.
